Topping the 997.2 Carrera model range, the GTS variant features a 408-horsepower 3.8-liter flat-six engine, a sport exhaust system, lowered Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels, and Alcantara interior upholstery. This 2012 Porsche 911 Carrera GTS Coupe is equipped with a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission sending power to all four wheels. It comes finished in Guards Red over a black interior and configured with heated front Sport Seats, bi-xenon PDLS headlights, Sport Chrono Package Plus, and BOSE Surround Sound System. Benefiting from services including new PDK fluid, spark plugs, and a serpentine belt replacement within the last year, this Carrera 4 GTS is now being offered for auction out of Pennsylvania with approximately 19k miles showing on the odometer.
Compared to a contemporary 997.2 Carrera S, the GTS model features a revised front fascia with a black lip spoiler, side skirts, and a rear diffuser with quad sport exhaust tips. As an all-wheel drive Carrera 4 version, this GTS also features wider fenders and a unique reflector band spanning between the LED taillights. The exterior is finished in Guards Red and includes bi-xenon headlights with Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), black model designation decals on the doors, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, a rearview camera, red brake calipers and black-finished 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels with machined outer lips. New Michelin Pilot Sport tires were mounted in 2021, and clear paint protection film is applied to the front end and rear quarter panels. The cabin is appointed with black leather and Alcantara upholstery accented by aluminum trim pieces. Accessories include an Alcantara-wrapped SportDesign steering wheel with paddle shifters, heated front Sport Seats, stainless-steel door entry guards with model logos, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, automatic climate control, cruise control, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with extended navigation, a satellite radio tuner, and BOSE Surround Sound System.
The GTS model’s naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine features a special resonance intake manifold and a sport exhaust system allowing it to produce 408 HP, an increase of 23 HP over a contemporary Carrera S model. This example is equipped with a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission that sends power to all four wheels. Performance features include lowered Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), fixed 4-piston brake calipers, 13” cross-drilled rotors, an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and Porsche Stability Management (PSM). Service in 2024 included PDK and differential fluid changes, a new serpentine belt, spark plugs, an oil change, and an air filter replacement.
