Mercedes-Benz introduced the second generation of the Mercedes-Benz G-Class, also known as the G-Wagen or Geländewagen, in the early 1990s to replace the W460 chassis produced from 1979. The W463 G-Class received several updates throughout its life, most notably in 2009 with the introduction of a larger 5.5-liter V8, revised styling, and an updated infotainment system. This 2012 Mercedes-Benz G550 comes finished in Iridium Silver Metallic over black leather and is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Colorado showing just under 70k miles on the odometer.
Wearing an Iridium Silver Metallic finish, this G550 features sidesteps, exterior stainless-steel trim, and a front brush guard in black. Five-spoke 19" AMG wheels are dressed in Goodyear Wrangler Duratec tires at all four corners. Modifications performed by the seller include a no-drill ladder on the rear and a center differential skid plate. In addition, clear paint protection was applied to the front hood and fenders. The seller notes minor paint imperfections and small dents that are viewable in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, this Mercedes-Benz features black leather upholstery and burred walnut veneers along with heated and ventilated seats, automatic climate control, electric sliding and tilting moonroof, and a central COMAND infotainment system with navigation. A premium Harman Kardon Logic 7 Surround Sound system is equipped as well.
This G550 has a naturally aspirated 5.5-liter V8 engine under the hood providing up to 382 HP and 391 lb.-ft of torque. A 7-speed automatic transmission powers all four wheels via the Mercedes-Benz 4MATIC all-wheel drive system, a two-speed transfer case, and three locking differentials. The seller states that the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) has been disconnected, and the associated warning light is present on the dash. The CARFAX history report shows regular servicing throughout the vehicle's lifetime.
The sale will include a clean title (lien).

@SpencerMarks one of the sensors was malfunctioning so I removed them all when putting the AT tires on. I am happy to include a new set that can be installed by any tire tech.
@ashmer Why was the TPMS system disconnected? Any way of reverting it back to factory?
Car includes full set of weathertech floor mats (not pictured): front, rear, and boot.
I am very sad to let go of this classic! Happy to address any and all questions as the auction progresses.
