The Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Superleggera was introduced in 2010 as the high-performance lightweight version of the second-generation Gallardo. The Performante Spyder followed soon after in 2011, equipped with the same 552 HP 5.2-liter V10 engine and utilization of carbon fiber construction for weight savings. This 2012 Performante Spyder is finished in the rarely seen color of Bianco Canopus Matte over a Nero Alcantara interior and was also optioned with the carbon fiber high rear wing, orange brake calipers, the Travel Package, the Interior Carbon Fiber Package, and a rearview camera. It was sold new by Prestige Imports of Miami, Florida, in 2011, and was purchased back by the selling dealer in 2022. Showing under 2k miles on the odometer, this Performante Spyder is now being offered at auction by its seller out of Florida.

The exterior is finished in Bianco Canopus Matte (0107) with black racing stripes and a power-operated black convertible soft top. The Performante Spyder weighs approximately 143 lbs. less than the standard Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder thanks to the use of aluminum components and a carbon-fiber engine cover, rear diffuser, rear wing, mirror housings, side sills, and underbody panels. Equipment includes an optional high carbon fiber rear wing, orange finished brake calipers with black Lamborghini script, a revised front fascia with larger air ducts, LED daytime running lights, a tri-colored Italian flag design on the engine cover, and black quad exhaust outlets. The 19” gunmetal forged Superleggera wheels are mounted with a set of Pirelli P-Zero Corsa tires.

The interior features sport seats trimmed in Nero Alcantara with carbon-fiber shells, white contrast stitching, Lamborghini logo embroidery, and Performante text on the outer bolsters. Matching Nero Alcantara spans the dashboard, center stack, rear bulkhead, inner door sills, and steering wheel, with full carbon fiber door panels and additional carbon fiber trim on the center console, lower steering wheel, handbrake handle, instrument binnacle, and auxiliary gauge housing as provided by the Interior Carbon Fiber Package. Other appointments include Performante-branded tread plates, dual-zone automatic climate control, power accessories, a driver’s storage box and storage net as equipped by the Travel Package, an infotainment screen with navigation and an optional reverse camera, auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, and battery voltage above the center stack, and a configurable driver’s information display.

The Gallardo Performante Spyder is equipped with a naturally-aspirated 5.2-liter V10 producing 562 horsepower and 398 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by a 6-speed electro-hydraulically actuated single-clutch automated transaxle operated by paddle shifters behind the steering wheel. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH occurs in less than 4 seconds with a claimed top speed of 202 MPH. Performance features include speed-sensitive power steering, Thrust Mode launch control, and a specially-tuned suspension. The seller reports that all routine service is up to date.
