The most high-performance open-top version of the Lamborghini Gallardo, the Spyder Performante is based on the LP 570-4 Superleggera model and features a 5.2-liter V10 engine producing over 560 HP along with extensive use of carbon fiber for weight savings. This 2012 example is finished in the rarely seen color of Bianco Canopus Matte over a Nero Alcantara interior and was optioned with the carbon fiber high rear wing, orange brake calipers, the Travel Package, the Interior Carbon Fiber Package, and a rearview camera. It was sold new by Prestige Imports of Miami, Florida, and was purchased by the current owner on PCARMARKET in 2022. Showing just over 2k miles on the odometer, this Lamborghini is now being offered for auction out of Texas.
The Gallardo LP 570-4 Spyder Performante features lightweight aluminum components and carbon fiber for its engine cover, rear diffuser, rear wing, mirror housings, side sills, and underbody panels which contribute to a weight savings of 143 lbs. compared to the standard Gallardo LP560-4 Spyder. This example is finished in Bianco Canopus Matte (0107) with black racing stripes and a power-operated black convertible soft top as well as an optional high carbon fiber rear wing. The full exterior is preserved under XPEL Stealth matte paint protection film. Other features include LED daytime running lights, a tri-colored Italian flag design on the engine cover, black quad exhaust outlets, and 19” Superleggera gunmetal forged wheels dressed in Pirelli P Zero Corsa tires. The cabin is appointed with Nero Alcantara upholstery accented by white contrast stitching and carbon fiber trim spanning the center console, instrument surround, seatbacks, and door panels. The manually adjustable sport seats feature embroidered Lamborghini emblems on the headrests and Performante insignias on the bolsters. The driver is situated ahead of a flat-bottom three-spoke steering wheel trimmed in Alcantara and carbon fiber with column-mounted paddle shifters. Other features include Performante-branded door sills, dual-zone automatic climate control, power windows, an infotainment screen with navigation and an optional reverse camera, a configurable driver’s information display, and auxiliary gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, and battery voltage above the center stack. A driver’s storage box and storage net are also included with the optional Travel Package.
This Gallardo is equipped with a naturally aspirated 5.2-liter V10 producing up to 562 HP and 398 lb-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven through a 6-speed electro-hydraulically actuated single-clutch automated transaxle. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH occurs in less than 4 seconds with a claimed top speed of 202 MPH. Performance features include speed-sensitive power steering, Thrust Mode launch control, and a specially tuned suspension. The seller notes a service was recently completed at Lamborghini Dallas and the clutch shows 95% material remaining.
