We are pleased to present this 2012 Jaguar XKR-S finished in French Racing Blue over a Warm Charcoal leather interior with Reims Blue stitching. Introduced in 2011 at the Geneva Auto Show, the XKR-S was the exclusive high-performance version of Jaguar’s XK grand touring car, featuring a supercharged V8 producing 550 HP, a sport-tuned adaptive suspension, a redesigned active exhaust system, a torque-vectoring differential, and carbon-fiber aerodynamics. One of less than 1000 Coupes produced from 2012-2014, this XKR-S was originally sold in New Jersey and was acquired by the seller in November of 2021. Thoroughly refreshed with an oil service, new rear brakes, new tires, and a new OEM Poltrona Frau leather headliner, this rare Jaguar XKR-S is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Ohio showing just over 23,500 miles on the odometer.
This XKR-S comes finished in the debut color of French Racing Blue (JYG) and features functional twin hood scoops and vents as well as vertical brake ducts in the front bumper, fender vents, and extended lower rocker panels. In the rear, a straked carbon-fiber diffuser and functional four-stanchion rear spoiler help keep this XKR-S planted to the road. The original carbon-fiber front splitter has also been replaced with a new front apron from Mina Gallery. Additional equipment includes xenon headlights with LED daytime running lights,rain-sensing windshield wipers, red brake calipers, and quad exhaust outlets. The exterior has received a thorough paint correction, GTechniq ceramic coating treatment, and is described by the seller to be in excellent condition apart from some minor paint touch-ups and scuffs under the front bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The XKR-S rides on 20” matte gray forged-aluminum Vulcan wheels, which have recently received a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires.
The interior features heated and power-adjustable performance seats trimmed in Warm Charcoal leather with Reims Blue stitching and carbon-fiber effect inserts, along with a matching dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include Dark Linear Aluminum inlays, a 7” LCD touchscreen with navigation, a Bowers & Wilkins 8-speaker sound system, dual-zone automatic climate control, front and rear parking sensors, a rear-view camera, keyless entry with push-button ignition, Jaguar-embossed stainless steel pedals, and a heated leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel with paddle shifters. The seller reports some slight wear on the seat bolsters, and has recently replaced the original headliner with a brand new OEM Poltrona Frau leather piece.
The XKR-S is powered by a 5.0L AJ V8, featuring a Roots-type twin-vortex supercharger and spray-guided direction injection, factory rated at 550 HP and 502 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven through a six-speed ZF automatic transmission and a torque-vectoring electronic limited-slip differential, which allows the XKR-S to reach 60 MPH from a standstill in less than 4 seconds with a top speed of 186 MPH. The suspension of the XKR-S consists of aluminum knuckles, stiffer springs, thicker anti-roll bars, active dampers, a quicker steering rack, and a recalibrated version of Jaguar’s Computer Active Technology Suspension (CATS). The performance active exhaust system was completely redesigned for the XKR-S and allows the driver to choose between open and closed settings. Upon purchase, the seller performed all necessary maintenance including an oil and filter change, a cabin filter replacement, new rear brake rotors and pads, new batteries in the key fob, four new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, and repair to the third brake light. Images of the undercarriage are provided in the gallery.
This sale will include a clean title, the original owner’s manuals, sales literature, and a C-Tek battery charger. One of the most powerful and performance-based Jaguars ever built, this rare XKR-S is ready to be enjoyed by the next owner.

@Handsofstone I don’t unfortunately, as it was done under previous ownership.
@DavisAutomotive Do you have the original pieces for the car that were removed?
@Handsofstone They were added. They are from Mina Gallery. Not added under my ownership though.
Are the carbon Fiber inserts on the hood original or was that added? Thanks Mark

@akydakyx and all other bidders - the alternator/oil pan shield is at our facing warehouse and has been ordered - will be here in two days. So, rest assured that will be on the car for the winning bidder!
I took pictures of the Piano Black trim as well as the CF splitter - uploaded to the portal so PCM should have them posted soon. Thanks!

@akydakyx Thanks very much. It's a special vehicle for sure. No blemishes to speak of on the piano black trim (which is rare I know lol). I will take pics for you tomorrow.
Zero blemishes on the CF splitter. It's brand new so it's perfect. The outdoor pictures were taken after the indoor pictures, so it must just be lighting.
Didn't even notice that cover is missing - nice catch. I know my techs wouldn't have not put it back on after - I am going to order that tomorrow and the new owner will have that cover included.
Nice car. Are there blemishes on piano black trim around screen (particularly right side)? How about any blemishes on the pax side of the carbon fiber trim beneath front grill? Carbon fiber issue seems to be present in the indoor pictures but not outdoor pictures. Maybe the pics were taken at a different time. Maybe some better pics? There is a cover missing underneath that protects alternator area behind front bellypan. Do you have that? Thanks.
Just scanned and uploaded maintenance records - should be posted by PCM soon!

@Yags Thank you!! I will get the service history (along with what we did) scanned in and added today. I don't have the original window sticker (sucks how people throw those out) but I am going to try to get a printout of the spec from the JLR portal. They make it very hard to get spec sheets for cars older than 2015, but I am going to try my best.
Very nice! Do you have a copy of the window sticker? Can you also image up the service history?
Bid in the amount of $25,000
Seller, thanks for the additional info.
@inov8 - Thanks!! From my understanding and from conversations I have had with our techs, the duck bill issue was not as pronounced on the later 5.0 cars. We do not know if this car has had the duck bill taken out or cut.
The vehicle is 50 state legal, is totally stock and would pass smog in CA.
Nice car! I watched the videos and read the description and did not see/hear any mention of the common problem on these cars with the Duck Bill leaking into the interior; and if it has not leaked and been repaired, has any preventive work been done to avoid coolant entering the cabin? Also, is the car 50 state legal and is all the smog eq. still in place? I am in CA would need to get it to pass smog.

Hello all! Welcome to the auction of our 2012 XKR-S. This is a very special car that I (part of ownership) personally owned and was the only one who drove it. Sad to see it go, but as I mention in my video walkaround, I can't keep them all!
Please let me know of any questions any of you might have.
