The Ford Mustang Shelby GTS Convertible is a limited-production, performance-focused variant featuring Shelby’s specialized enhancements. This 2012 model is one of only eight GTS examples equipped with a 5.0-liter V8 engine for the year, an upgrade costing nearly $12k. It is also reportedly the sole example configured as a convertible with a Race Red finish, white stripes, and Shelby’s exclusive Museum Delivery Program. Key features include a 6-speed automatic transmission, a limited-slip differential, Shelby and Electronics packages, a power-operated black soft top, 18” alloy wheels, and a navigation system. Showing just under 24k miles on the odometer, this Shelby GTS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Massachusetts.

The Shelby GTS showcases distinctive Shelby styling cues including a unique grille, Shelby badging, and a more aggressive hood, side scoops, and rear spoiler. This example is finished in Race Red with white stripes and features a “Deep Draw” hood, a power-operated black soft top, HID headlights, a roll bar with integrated third brake light, dual exhaust outlets, and a rear decklid spoiler. It rides on black-finished 18” Shelby GTS wheels wrapped in Nitto NT555 G2 tires. The seller reports a 1/8” paint touch-up on the driver-side door but assures the paint is otherwise in “perfect condition.” Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The interior features heated front seats upholstered in grey leather with a contrasting midline white stripe. It includes aluminum pedals, air conditioning, remote keyless entry, and the Electronics Package which adds a navigation system, an upgraded audio system with HD and satellite radio, auxiliary ports, a voice-activated system, and a rearview camera. All gauges and electronics are confirmed to be working properly, with no warning lights illuminated.

Power comes from a naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8 adorned with Shelby-branded accessories, which delivers a factory-rated 412 HP and 390 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 6-speed automatic transmission with a limited-slip differential. The seller notes the engine and transmission fluids were recently changed in preparation for the sale.

This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, a sales brochure, a Shelby American Inc. Vehicle Authenticity Certificate, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “This car is a showstopper as it is a one-of-one build by Shelby. The engine is a coyote tuned to 412hp.”

So it failed due to the new battery replacement and a computer reset that had not happened every year from 2017 to 2019?

If you know about Frods when the battery is replaced from lack of use, after the new battery you have to drive 150 miles or 50 restarts to get the computer reset . So if you don't drive it , put it on a trinkel charger.

It also failed in July 2023 test.

Any information on all the failed emission tests in 2017, 2018 and 2019?
