We are pleased to present this 2012 BMW E92 M3 Competition finished in Individual Frozen Silver Metallic over a Black Novillo Extended leather interior. Said to be one of only forty M3s in this color produced for the North American market, this example was purchased new at Steve Thomas BMW of Camarillo, California in November of 2011. It was optioned with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the Competition Package, Electronic Dampening Control, a carbon-fiber roof, and the Cold Weather and Premium Packages. During previous ownership, this M3 had been fitted with a carbon fiber front splitter, a BMW Performance carbon fiber rear spoiler, and Ohlins Road & Track coilovers. Now showing just over 39k miles on the odometer, this E92 M3 Competition is being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
This M3 was specified in Individual Frozen Silver Metallic, indicated by the Sonderlackierung (Special Paint) tags under the hood showing paint code W07. Other details include adaptive xenon headlights, gloss-black Shadowline trim, a carbon-fiber roof panel, black kidney grilles, black brake calipers, an aftermarket carbon fiber front splitter, a BMW Performance carbon fiber rear spoiler, custom gloss black painted hood vents, and black exhaust tips. This M3 is equipped with 19” BMW Style 359 Competition Package wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires from 2020. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The interior is trimmed in Black Extended Novillo leather with upholstery also covering the instrument panel lower section and glove-box lid. The optional Premium Package equips power-folding mirrors, a digital compass mirror with a universal garage door opener, BMW Assist with Bluetooth, and Blue-gray Brushed Aluminum trim. The Cold Weather Package provides a split fold-down rear seat, retractable headlight washers, and heating functionality for the power-adjustable front seats. Additional amenities include rear Park Distance Control sensors, a power rear sunshade, Comfort Access keyless entry, navigation, and automatic climate control. An aftermarket parking brake handle has been installed as well as aftermarket gloss carbon-fiber trim on the center console, door panels, and dash.
The E92 M3 is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.0L S65 V8 engine, featuring individual throttle bodies, double VANOS valve timing, and a redline of 8400 RPM. As much as 414 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque are delivered to the rear wheels by a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission with a limited-slip differential. The optional Competition Package gives the M3 a 10mm lower ride height, a recalibrated Electronic Dampening Control system, and Dynamic Stability Control with a higher slip threshold. Stopping power is derived from large single-piston sliding calipers in the front and smaller single-piston calipers in the rear, both clamping down on 2-piece cross-drilled and ventilated rotors. The seller reports a set of Ohlins Road & Track coilovers were installed during previous ownership, the rod bearings were done in October of 2020, and service was carried out for preparation of the sale in February of 2022.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, and some maintenance documentation.

Good morning everyone, I’m excited and sad to let these cars go today. With that said, I wanted to review some notable comments on each car as a review. These are all in amazing condition and will make even the most detailed buyer happy with their purchase, not to mention absolutely stunning to look at!
1. This car has been fitted with divorced Ohlins road and track coilovers.
2. A PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) was completed by PSI (Precision-sport.com)
in Orlando Florida and their recommended service items are being completed.
3.The work on the PPI is being completed by me and is not an expense to the buyer. Shipping delays may occur to ensure the work is completed properly.
4. Paint and tire meter readings along with service history records are attached in the photo gallery.
It's important to note that I will always put my best effort forward to deliver a car that is a 10 out of 10 for the next owner and these 9 cars do not fall short. I’m excited to meet all the winning bidders tomorrow! Good luck today everyone and I hope you enjoy the bid battle.

@tsvpower seems totally reasonable to me. I will do my best tomorrow to snag a few pictures. I have a few people coming to look at 2 cars tomorrow and it's a tight schedule but I will put every effort in to get those for you.
@tsvpower Reason I ask for pictures, the bring a trailer listing shows scratches present and it seems like they might be covered with a front lip. Kindly confirm if that's true. Thanks
-Sammy
Can you please share pictures of the underside of the bumper?
Bid in the amount of $33,000
@tsvpower Good morning and good question. No, I do not have any concerns of paint work on this car. I understand your question and concern but the process/material for a frozen car is slightly different than gloss paint and it can be differnt even from one frozen color to another. I can assure you this car does not have any prior paint work and there was a lot of effort put into the selection of these cars for this collection based on the quality of car. Thank you for the question and good luck.
I’ve compared the paint readings from all 3 frozen cars and it seems this is an outlier. In terms of paint thickness this is 2 mills on average more, do you reckon it’s been respected sometime during its former ownership? Reason I say that is because the paint reads 9 in some areas when ornaments paint doesn’t go past 7

@tsvpower I'm not sure which bearings were used on this paticular car as they were done prior to my ownership. They wouldn't be replaced with OEM bearings if that was your concern, as no one would do that. I hope this helps
@THEITCH Most of the time, people replace them for a sense of security as they will all need to be replaced on any and all E92 M3 cars. It's not really an option to skip this service. In general, mileage is the most common reason though. I hope this answers your question.
@ghost41 yes I have a reserve on this auction and I can appreciate your interest in that number but it is against auction policy to openly discuss that number. I wouldn't feel comfortable discussing this publicly anyway. I hope this finds you well. Good luck bidding
@m500sel I can appreciate your concern but I think you over looked the that the Phoenix Yellow was recommended to replace the bearings on the PPI completed and it's in the shop getting them completed currently (All recommended services on the PPI's are being completed by me). Please double check your information prior to making inflamatory comments as they might have a financial reaction if recieved the wrong way from a potential bidder. It's important to me that my cars are always sorted to the best of my abilities and my supportive teammates. All 9 of these E92's are top notch, and I you'll love whichever one you choose to buy. Good luck and hit me up with any other questions.
Hello everyone, I just wanted to reach out and let you all know that I will be uploading the remaining service documents and walk around/cold start videos in the next 24 hours. Thank you for all the kind words and interest on the car. Good luck with the bidding.
@DPL So the rod bearings have been replaced on this silver e92 but not on the higher mileage Phoenix Yellow E92? I’m confused.
@ghost41 and if so what is the amount
Ia there a reserve on this car?
@DPL Was their a process used to determine that the bearings were ready for replacement?
M3 day on PCar!
Were BE bearings used for the job?
Pre-purchase inspections (PPIs) have been added to the listing galleries. Apologize for the delay posting them but it's quite a job rathering all the data for nine E92's. I'll be posting the BMW service records tomorrow for each auction.
@THEITCH The reason they were replaced on the S65 engines is preventative maintenance. Some are replaced at 10,000 miles, others at 90,000. The bearings wear over time and it's a known issue so to prevent the problem they get replaced. Every S65 engine is different when it comes to rod bearings.
Can you elaborate a little more as to the reason the rod bearings needed to be replaced. Thanks, Steve
Hello everyone, my name is Drew ( IG @drewleslie ) and this Frozen Silver is the second of the nine E92’s that I have collected, and they are all officially up for auction. This car is one of 40 produced in Frozen Silver and has some very special touches from the BMW M3 GTS. Those include an M Power e-brake handle, GTS alcantara steering wheel, GTS door sills and carbon fiber interior trim as part of the Frozen Silver special edition. There are a few items that I would like to review as we get this listing started.
1. This car has been fitted with divorced Ohlins road and track coilovers.
2. A PPI (Pre-Purchase Inspection) was completed by PSI (Precision-sport.com) in Orlando Florida and their recommended service items are being completed.
3. Paint and tire meter readings along with service history records are attached in the photo gallery.

Thank you for the interest and happy bidding. #ToTheMoon
