This 2012 BMW E92 M3 Coupe is finished in the BMW Individual color of Fire Orange over extended Black Novillo Leather upholstery and features the optional Competition Package (ZCP) as well as a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission paired with its 4.0-liter S65 V8 engine. The car was originally sold in Canada and is said to be one of only 274 North American examples finished in this rare color. Said to have been previously serviced with new throttle body actuators, this well-optioned M3 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Alberta while showing approximately 47k miles on the odometer.
In contrast to a standard E92 3-Series Coupe, the M3 features front fender vents with integrated LED turn signals, more aggressive bumpers and side skirts, an aluminum power dome hood, quad exhaust tips, and a trunk lid spoiler. This 2012 example is finished in the BMW Individual color of Fire Orange (U94) complemented by Shadowline exterior trim, black front kidney grilles, black chrome quad exhaust tips, a carbon fiber roof panel, and carbon fiber front winglets. Other equipment includes adaptive xenon headlights, rear parking sensors, and black-finished 19” Style 359 Competition Package wheels. It rides on Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires showing production date codes ranging from 2017 to 2020. The seller notes one small paint chip on the passenger door handle. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with extended Black Novillo Leather upholstery accented by Carbon Structure Leather trim spanning the dashboard and door panels. Accessories include heated and power-adjustable front sport seats, a multifunction M sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, M-specific instrument dials, a stainless-steel M footrest, M3-branded door sills, dual-zone automatic climate control, Comfort Access, an engine start/stop button, and iDrive with navigation.
The E92 M3 is powered by a high-revving 4.0L S65 V8 factory rated at 414 HP and 295 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed M-DCT dual-clutch automatic transmission and a Variable M Differential Lock. The optional Competition Package adds stiffer springs with a 10mm lower ride height, a specially tuned Electronic Damping Control system, and an “M” sport mode for the Dynamic Stability Control (DSC) system. Replacement throttle body actuators were reportedly installed under prior ownership.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “If you are a collector, a Fire-Orange E92 M3 is a must-have for any collection! One of only 274!”

For US buyers, please don't be scared of the border, logistically this purchase will be exactly the same as shipping from another state, only with a few more forms, you'll be surprised how smoothly it goes, and picture this thing arriving at your doorstep... like WOW!
To re-iterate:
-Spotless Carfax
-Spotless undercarriage
-Only serviced at dealer
-Throttle actuators done
-100% stock
-100% original paint
-3M on entire front end
It was removed, my request, cause why not
@Maxwell16 Where did the Formula Auction listing of this car back in July go? Can’t seem to find it? Did you request for Formula Auction to take it down for some reason? Interested buyer and only want full transparency on why that is…thanks.
Really nice car ! GLWTA
Hahaha @sironside thanks for the life lesson on the state of the economy.... A buyer asked a question.... I responded with the only history that Pcar has to offer...and the first sentence stated "Having said that, Im here to sell the car, not test the market so those numbers are not a reflection of the private reserve in place."
So anyways. Let's get back to the auction of this awesome car!!!
@Maxwell16 Unfortunately posting comparables of other cars that have sold six months to a year ago or more are no longer comparables. The market isn't the same as it was even three months ago. Also, this isn't a numbered limerock car so decals , a muffler and a 1/200 does make a massive difference to collectibility.... What happened with the formual auctions high bid of $63,500 on July 11th, 2023 that didn't hit reserve??
@S_Rosso97 I think the car is worth $60k-$75k USD. Having said that, Im here to sell the car, not test the market so those numbers are not a reflection of the private reserve in place.
For a market look, similar mileage Lime-rock DCT cars trade for around $70-$75k USD. Yes this is not a Limerock edition, but essentially the only difference is a couple stickers and a muffler....plus mine has extended leather, factory black accents, individual audio (which Limerocks don't have) and you buy it for the colour!! Heres a Limerock with only 10k-miles less selling for $87k: https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2013-bmw-m3-competition-fire-orange/
Then if you look other individual colour DCT E92 M3's they trade for high 50's-mids 60's. Heres a couple links to those examples sold here on Pcar:
1. Dakar yellow: (36k-miles, sold for $63k) https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2011-bmw-m3-competition-package-dakar-yellow/
2. Java green (55k-miles sold for $59k) (which actually was also sold new in Calgary, Alberta, Canada!) https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2011-bmw-m3-competition-package/
3. Santorini Blue (29k-miles sold for $68k) Also an original canadian car! https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/dealtank-2013-bmw-m3-competition-1/
4. Frozen blue (15k-miles sold for $70k) https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2013-bmw-m3-competition/
5. Phoenix Yellow (61k-miles sold for $58k) https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/2013-bmw-m3-competition-phoenix-yellow/
Hope that gives you and everyone else some insight!
One day left any more questions just ask!

Post says 47k
Bid in the amount of $35,500
@Eireboy the car is absolutely perfect, there is nothing wrong with it. I never had the car PPI’d when I bought it. However I’d be more than happy to take it for one in the next three days should you like to make an appointment anywhere locally. Or perhaps more undercarriage photos? Or close up pics of brake pads? Selling most of my collection right now, has nothing to do with the car.
Hi there, wanted to ask if you have PPI for the car? Perhaps maybe you did when you bought it? Also curious as to why youre selling it. Noticed you logged relatively few miles with your short few months of ownership. Curious why you’re letting it go so soon?

Hello everybody! Welcome to the auction for my Fire-Orange individual E92 Comp! Initially you may think that this is a Lime Rock Park edition but in fact it is not! (and in my opinion.. its even more special ;).
There were 274 E9X cars painted Fire-Orange, (200 LRPE cars and 74 BMW individual orders). This is one of the 74 individual cars and because of that, some other options were added from new making this M3 even more unique! These include the extended leather package, individual audio package, Individual Black Chrome Kidney Grills, Black Side Vent Grills, and black-chrome Exhaust Tips. In a sense, its even more rare than an LRPE! What does that mean value wise? Well in 7 days we will find out!
Few key things to note:
-Spotless Carfax
-Spotless undercarriage
-Only serviced at dealer
-Throttle actuators done
-100% stock
-100% original paint
-3M on entire front end
I’m going to anticipate the USA Import questions so here are the steps below!
1. Win the Auction
2. Acquire a compliance letter – Already done!
3. We Forward a signed bill of sale to the broker along with the Alberta registration (Our US title equivalent). Pay the 2.5% duties applicable upon import.
4. Pay the Transport company upon arrival of the M3 at your doorstep. I will help you with arranging transport, done it many times before.
5. Take the completed importation forms (that will be in the car on arrival) to the DMV and register your new M3.
6. Enjoy your new FIRE-ORANGE M3!!
Its that simple guys!
