Showing just over 60k miles on the odometer, Turbo S cabriolet is now available for auction by its seller out of California.

Additionally leather extends to the A-pillars and sun visors, center console, speaker finishers, clothes hooks, sport seat backrests, steering column casing, and instrument surround. Detailed images showcasing this handsome cabin can be found in the gallery, along with the original window sticker. The seller notes that all electronics and accessories are in working order though the convertible top may need an adjustment as the right side does not fully close intermittenly.
This 997.2 is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six engine that produces up to 530 HP and 516 lb.-ft of torque. By utilizing a revised intake system and more aggressive tuning, the Turbo S achieves an increase of 30 HP over the standard Turbo model. A 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission sends power to all four wheels allowing the Turbo S to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 2.9 seconds while covering the quarter-mile in 10.8 seconds. Standard performance features include the Sport Chrono Package, Dynamic Engine Mounts, and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV). The CARFAX highlights five service history records dating back to 2014, and the seller notes that a major 60k-mile service was just carried out this week allowing for instant enjoyment from its next owner.

I loved the spec and placed a bid, Once you have the dash retrimmed it will be a solid car along with other various TLC items. The UV from the sun just kills interiors.
@Pflongojr Thanks! Couldn't resist this color combo. I bought some Cadbury's creme eggs at lunch for mojo

@Foxtrot Actually nana spec ordered a new 911 Turbo a year ago and it just arrived from the factory. Once you own one, it must be hard to imagine anything else. If you see nana tearing up the neighborhoods, look out I guess.

@nathanh Its likely the pads have been replaced but the rotors are typically good for 100K miles. IF the rotors were changed at service, you would have known for they are $25K for a set of four.
GLWA!
Will you be repairing the convertible top compartment lid, or are you expecting the buyer to pay for that repair?
@JNasty Yes, that wheel was replaced. Should be visible as a line item cost in the service records.
@nathanh - sorry, can't tell, did the bent wheel get replaced?

@ralex17 Following up on brakes and rotors. There doesn't appear to be any record of them having been changed at the other service shop. I guess the explanation for their recent good condition is that the car has never been driven all that aggressively.
Bid in the amount of $45,000
@ralex17 Understand completely. I'll try my best to see if we can dig up the records. At a minimum though, we have the recent inspection report.
@richinwhb It's a very old liquid stain. My mom never tried to treat it with a new stain/polish but I think that approach might be successful as it's just a slight lighter-color discoloration. It doesn't wipe off. Fortunately, the leather there is not worn, it's just a color change.
@nathanh thanks for the feedback. I'm not disagreeing, but it's common for PCCB brakes to last 60,000 miles. The rotors cost a fortune to replace, that's why I was asking.
@ralex17 The car was brought in for 60,000 mile service just over a week ago on 4/5/22 and there were no concerning observations on the rotors or brakes when assessed. Brake/rotor system got a green check on the multi-point inspection sheet (image 110). Front brake pads were measured at 7mm and rear were at 5mm so they still have a good bit of life left.
We are pretty sure the brake pads and rotors have been replaced but don't have a physical record of it. There are a period of a few years where my mom when to San Carlos German Motor Works instead of the dealership service center. We're calling to see if that have those old records and will post if we find. Otherwise, you wouldn't expect the rotors and breaks to be where they are if never changed for 60000 miles. And in the records, you can see that the brake pads were measured at 7mm several times in the past, then chronologically they bump up to 10mm at a subsequent inspection. Rotors likely would have been changed at that time.

@REB27 The retraction issue appeared after service appointments this month just as we were submitting the car for auction. The issue has therefore not been addressed with a service attempt. It appears to be an adjustment issue that can take more than a few tries with slightly variable results to how far it closes. The issue only shows up when retracting the top so there's no risk related to rain unless you drive with the top down in the rain.
@nathanh
Can you add some additional clarity on the front leather cushion in picture 61. Is it worn or was there some sort of liquid spilled ? I do not want to keep piling on but this is an unique 911 in many ways. Thank you.
It looks like the rear brake pads are going to need replacing. Are the rotors OK?
Bid in the amount of $36,250
@nathanh lucky kids! Trying to better understand the problem with the top. Does it sometime not fully retract on one side? How often? Does water get into that crack/space when it rains? And lastly, curious why your mom hasn’t had the issue addressed? Thanks!
@mikelaca Yes, you are right that there are some standing impressions in the rear right seat leather seat back. These are the result of my mom's grandsons living large cruising around in their nanas Porsche in a child seat. The armrest flaw is also a compression (not really a scratch or scrape). We have not approached anyone to quote a repair.
In photo 40 there seems to be some massive dents/divots in the leater on the right rear passenger seat, as well as a gouge or deep scrape where that rear passenger would rest their right arm on the side leather area. Any insight into what caused them, any quotes to get them fixed, or other insight on them?
Bid in the amount of $36,000
@rjaudi The car was pulled over immediately when the light went on while driving on city streets, within 500 feet or so.
There is some splitting of the leather around the speakers on the defroster panels. Will add additional close ups to the photo gallery shortly.
How long was the engine allowed to run hot before it was towed? Are the defroster trims peeling?
@LloydStC There is paint protection film in excellent condition on this car. The paint protection film was requested when the car was ordered and installed at the dealership when the car arrived new from Germany.
@WhipE350 Yes, that photo shows an adjustment issue with the closing mechanism. Sometimes it closes much better and sometimes it looks like that. We haven't addressed this issue with the dealer yet.
The scuffs on the side of the wheel well were from curbs. The car has never been driven on gravel.
Also, we have a much more complete service record than the photos indicate. We had lost some of the paperwork but were able to gather digital copies from the dealer. Pcarmarket will be adding them soon so you can see them. In that, you will find a 10,000 mile service and oil change record.
Is there Paint Protection Film on this car? If so, when was it installed and what is the current condition? Thanks.
It that a complete list of service records and does it show an oils change before 23,000 miles?
Hello. Picture 19, is that an adjustment issue or was the dealer unable to fix it.
Was it driven on a gravel road to sustain the lower side trim paint damage or was it just rubbed against curbs?
@mikelaca Yes, exactly
Just found the Carfax, didn't realize it was in the photos. Ok, so looks like curb rash, parking-stop misjudgement, dips in the road, etc.
@mikelaca The CARFAX is located in the photo gallery.
@mikelaca Thanks Mike. Yes, have a very clean carfax report. All the scuffs and bumper issues are 100% parking skill result. Let me see if I can get the pcarmarket team to add the report.
Wow i love this car, honestly one of the best colors and liberal use of options! Do you have a CarFax or Autocheck or any info about wrecks and body repair? Or are all of the front-bends and general scuffs related to "parking skills"?
Hello bidders, I welcome any questions that you have about the vehicle. I am coordinating the auction process on behalf of my mother who is the owner. I will do my best to get questions answered quickly.
