Offered for auction is a 2011 Porsche 997.2 Turbo S Coupe finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Stone Grey full leather interior. The flagship 911 of its generation, the 997.2 Turbo S was debuted as Porsche’s fastest production car to date, featuring a 530 HP flat-six engine along with a 7-speed PDK transmission, Sport Chrono Package, and Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB) as standard.  This 2011 example features the optional Interior Package in Carbon Fiber as well as the painted exterior package, Porsche crest embossed headrests, seatbelts in Silver Grey, and exclusive clear taillight lenses.  It has also been upgraded with an ECU tune, headers, and exhaust system from Fabspeed Motorsport.  Remaining under the care of its original owner, a PCA member in Kansas, this outstanding Turbo S Coupe is now being offered for auction showing just over 7k miles on the odometer.

This Turbo S comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic and sports factory exclusive clear taillights as well as an optional painted front spoiler, lower rear apron, and side skirts.  The factory 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels were fitted with a set of new Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires at 6,276 miles. A Rennkit electric rear wing conversion has been recently completed including an increased raised height of 3". Clear stone guards are applied over the rear fenders and aftermarket Fabspeed exhaust tips can be seen in the back. Some scrapes are noted on the bottom of the spoiler lip as well as a small crack, and an unpainted replacement spoiler lip is said to accompany the sale.  The car had reportedly seen track use on only one occasion with no modifications in place, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The cabin is trimmed in Stone Grey full leather upholstery accented by optional carbon fiber inlays and exclusive seatbelts in Silver Grey.  An optional fire extinguisher was mounted from the factory and the Sport Seats come with embossed Porsche crested headrests. The original carpet floor mats have been preserved under plastic all-season covers.

The twin-turbocharged 3.8L flat-six engine generates up to 530 HP and 516 lb.-ft of torque in stock configuration, driving all four wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission.  Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is reached in less than 3 seconds and stopping power is handled by Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes (PCCB).  This example has been outfitted with headers, high-flow catalytic converters, and a full exhaust system from Fabspeed Motorsport along with a corresponding ECU tune.  An extensive collection of records is said to accompany the sale including invoices for new spark plugs, a serpentine belt, and cabin filter in 2018 as well as the last oil service in July of 2020 at 6,993 miles.

This sale will include a replacement front spoiler, the original window sticker, factory exhaust system, and a clean title. Cared for by only one owner, this low-mileage Turbo S features a host of desirable factory options and high-end performance upgrades.  Do not miss your chance to get behind the wheel.

    Truly impressive bidding for a truly impressive car! I have an ECU and the TPC DSC controller on my .2 TTS along with a Europipe exhaust - a killer combo to whoever wins this. I can probably do 0-60 in 2.7 or so. Go get ‘‘em folks!

    @Autobob thank u! That’s helpful.

  • Autobob (seller) 2 years, 10 monthsago

    @Ak432 Yes it is very simple and one can typically wait while the dealer does the flash.
    They load the latest software from Porsche for the cars VIN / year, make and model. Next they attached to the OBD2 port or on some manufactures there will be a seperate dealer access port. Through this port they flash the update file to the engine computer, start the car , do an idle relearn and all is done. Very simple and no parts are needed or removed. Typical time spent is under an hour.

    Bob- From your experience, is reflashing the ECU back to a stock in order to pass smog a straightforward process? Does it involve swapping back the original parts etc? Thx in advance for your input.

    Good morning.
    We have just lifted the reserve so this 911 will sell to the highest bidder!
    Thank you for the kind comments both public and in private communication.
    I am available if any questions arise today.

    @Manhatten_trout, I could not agree more. This one is one of the best examples I have seen for sale in a long time.
    Current bidding is at the Extra Clean retail mark for Black Book and specific to this VIN. This should do at least 15% over the current number since it is so well documented and presented.

  • Manhattan_trout (registered bidder) 2 years, 10 monthsago

    The last truly analog 911…the 997.2 TTS is a beast, the best “value” of any TTS of any generation. This should do great. GLWS!

    @BlakeFully This 911 turboS has Fabspeed headers, high flow converters and muffler, the tone as you can hear in videos is not loud but it has more character than stock as you can barely hear a stock 911 turbo exhaust. The factory OEM headers, converters and muffler comes with the car for no extra cost if you want them.

  • BlakeFully (registered bidder) 2 years, 10 monthsago

    Does the car still have the factory catalytic converters?

  • mgalardeharmon (registered bidder) 2 years, 10 monthsago

    Hi, I have added some of the more recent service invoices. Full history of service invoices are also included with the car along with two factory keys, window sticker and all owner’s manuals.
    I am selling this TurboS for the owner, he has been a friend / client for 30 years and takes very good care of his vehicles. Having a long-standing passion for Porsches and Corvettes he is a gentle driver but likes to know the performance is there if and when he wants it. He understands how to protect machinery and always warms up the engine oil prior to exercising a car.

  • Autobob (seller) 2 years, 10 monthsago

    @BlakeFully
    No PPF except the factory large piece on rear fenders in front of wheels.
    The paint is virgin with only two very small 1mm chips on front bumper, have seen no chips on hood, fenders, mirrors or glass.

  • BlakeFully (registered bidder) 2 years, 10 monthsago

    I saw the listing stated clear stone guards over the rear fenders. Is there PPF on the front of the car, the leading edge of the rear wing, etcetera?

    Good morning, thank you for viewing our TurboS auction. I welcome your questions and if close to Wichita, Ks the 911 is available for viewing.
    @kyrocks, I will check into getting some readings, interesting idea.
    @jtsherri, no respray on the front bumper, in person the factory paint color and texture/finish of plastic vrs metal parts is very good.
    Manufactures paint bumpers and mirrors off car, the paint for any plastic part is also a little different as has a flex additive in it so reflection will vary a little.

  • jtsherri (registered bidder) 2 years, 10 monthsago

    Was the front bumper re-sprayed at some point?

    Do you have paint meter readings available? Thank you.
