Presented for auction is this highly sought-after 2011 Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4.0 finished in Carrara White over a black full leather and Alcantara interior. Produced in a limited series of 600 examples for the entire world, the 4.0 is revered as being the last GT3 RS to be offered with a traditional manual gearbox. Highlighting a legendary 4.0 L flat-six Mezger engine and extensive paint protection film, this pristine 2011 example is now being offered for auction showing approximately 10k miles on the odometer.
The classic Carrara White finish is stated to be in excellent condition with paint protection film covering nearly the entire vehicle including the front bumper, hood, fenders, roof, partial quarter panels, edge of rear wings and rear bumper edges. A collection of detailed images is provided in the photo gallery. This 4.0 rides on factory 19” center-lock wheels which are finished in GT Silver Metallic and currently dressed in Michelin Super Sport tires bearing less than 100 miles of use.
Inside, the black leather and Alcantara upholstered cabin is noted to be in exceptional condition. Unique features include bucket seats and a factory limitation plaque denoting this example as #475/600. Commanding an original sticker price of over $189k, this GT3 RS showcases the following factory options:
This RS carries a legendary 4.0 L flat-six Mezger engine which sends 500 HP to the rear wheels by way of an engaging 6-speed manual transmission. Featuring the largest engine to have ever been equipped in a road-going 911 at the time, the 4.0 is capable of accelerating from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.5 seconds while reaching top speeds upwards of 190 MPH. For added performance and improved sound, this GT3 RS has been upgraded with an aftermarket Sharkwerks center muffler bypass. All scheduled maintenance is reported to be up to date with a routine service performed recently in 2020.
The sale of this GT3 RS 4.0 will include original books, service records and a set of two keys. Do not miss out on this incredibly special opportunity to take ownership of one of the rarest and most highly collectible Porsche’s of all time.

@Modena1 there is a little wear, you will be able to identify it on one of the pictures, specifically the one where you see the door carbon fiber sill (4.0RS). That’s it. Thank you.

Attention bidders. The auction ends in just a few hours. Although the DME will not be available prior to the finalization of the auction, the seller has agreed to make the sale contingent on a satisfactory DME.
Hello Folks, first I would like to thank everyone for bidding. Also note that the DME Report will be posted tomorrow, but please don’t hesitate to bid as we can make it contingent on a clean bill of health from the DME Report. Thank you, and happy bidding

@sportscarguy3 Thank you !
@Davidmohlman Yes the car has original paint all around. The readings are not perfect on the front section of the car, as the car has PPF installed. I'll post regardless.
@bretster - Hello, thank you for your bid. No, the original center muffler piece is not included with the sale.
Wow !!
Incredible Porsche ...
Please advise if 100% original paint and post images of paint meter readings. Thx
Is the original exhaust included in the sale?
Bid in the amount of $99,720
@Craignyc You are correct, no front axle lift. In my opinion this is the only option missing in order to make this car the absolute perfect spec’ed car. No wart (chrono), right color, leather and seats.
Just to confirm no front axel lift ? Thanks
@prl I should have an updated report by Monday - I'll post the results asap. Thank you
@Paulk1 Not that I'm aware of. Also the rock panels show no sign of rocks or track debris.
Rotors have no heat cracks or pad deposit. Also the calipers and the ceramic pucks and boots inside the calipers are intact. All these things are indication that this may be a non tracked unit.
Dme ?
Any track miles? Thanks!
