Up for auction is this highly sought-after 2011 Porsche 997 GT3 RS 4.0 finished in Carrara White over a black and red leather interior.  Representing #508 in a limited series of 600 examples built for the entire world, this 4.0 is coveted as being the last GT3 RS to be offered with a traditional manual gearbox.  Highlighting a legendary 4.0 L flat-six Mezger engine as well as the front axle lifting system and Sport Chrono Package Plus, this pristine 2011 example is now being offered for auction with a clean DME report showing approximately 9k miles on the odometer.

The classic Carrara White finish is stated to be in excellent condition with paint protection film covering the whole front end, rear wing, mirror covers, and rear bumper.  A collection of detailed images is provided in the photo gallery.  Noteworthy features include optional clear taillights, a large rear wing, front canards and factory “RS 4.0” graphics which help further distinguish this limited-edition model.  Red brake calipers complement the original white center lock RS wheels which are currently dressed in Michelin Sport Cup 2 tires from 2014.  Images depicting the condition of the tire treads are provided in the photo gallery.

Inside, the cabin is upholstered in black leather with contrasting red Alcantara details.  The interior is noted to be in exceptional condition.  Unique features include a professionally installed roll bar, red RS door pulls, carbon fiber door sill guards and a factory limitation plaque denoting this example as #508/600.  This 4.0 is equipped with the extremely desirable front axle lifting system which enables the nose of the car to be raised and lowered when traversing obstacles.  Commanding an original sticker price of over $225k CAN, this RS showcases the following factory options:

  • Rain Sensor
  • Front Axle Lifting System
  • Sound Package Plus
  • Cupholders
  • Dynamic Cornering Lights
  • Sport Chrono Package Plus
  • PCM 3.0 w/ Extended Navigation
  • XM Radio Receiver
  • Universal Audio Interface
  • Automatically Dimming Mirrors
  • Rear Console Painted in Exterior Color
  • Clear Taillights

This RS carries a revered 4.0 L flat-six Mezger engine which is rated at approximately 500 HP.  The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission making the 4.0 the last GT3 RS to be offered with a standard gearbox.  Featuring the largest engine to have ever been equipped in a road-going 911 at the time, the 4.0 is capable of accelerating from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.5 seconds while reaching top speeds upwards of 190 MPH. Lightweight components including a carbon fiber hood and front fenders help to provide for an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 365 BHP per ton.  The Sport Chrono Package Plus enables the driver to optimize performance characteristics while underway.  Reported to be up to date on all due maintenance, this RS underwent a recent service and is being offered with a clean DME report.

With its breathtaking naturally aspirated power and traditional 6-speed manual gearbox, the GT3 RS 4.0 has been hailed by Car and Driver as “the purest 911”.

The sale of this GT3 RS 4.0 will include original books and tools, service records and a set of two keys.  Do not miss out on this incredibly special opportunity to own one of the most desirable and highly regarded modern Porsche’s on the road.

I bought 2 cars from Canada before and no issues just hire a broker to handle the paperwork and transport. This one should have no problem since its a numbered car and some of them were sent to the US. The only potential issue is if the speedometer is in kilometers instead of miles but could get away of conversion if it has a small digital speedo thats interchangeable from kph to mph.

    The ultimate water-cooled 911, wouldn't you agree?

  • 993nut (seller) 4 years, 6 monthsago

@Craignyc companies like Autocross Vehicle Advisors Ltd. can help with logistics and paper work in importing Canadian cars into USA. http://autocrossva.ca/

@Craignyc In general a foreign made car that was never imported to US (like this car which was delivered new in Canada) will be subject to standard import duties of 2.5% of the purchase price. The applicable price here would be the sale price of the car today, not the original MSRP. Modern cars may also be subject to gas-guzzler tax.

  • Craignyc (registered bidder) 4 years, 6 monthsago

I’ve never imported a Canadian car before, are there any additional taxes or fees?

  • 993nut (seller) 4 years, 6 monthsago

@radonculous car is all stock except the RSS roll bar installed.

  • 993nut (seller) 4 years, 6 monthsago

@radonculous date of DME scab done when fresh service done 3 weeks ago.

  • 993nut (seller) 4 years, 6 monthsago

@radonculous Thanks for your questions. DME readings and CarFax in the picture gallery. Car has no accidents and no paint work. PPF covered full front, side mirrors, rear quarter, rear bumper and rear wing. Paint reading pictures submitted and will be uploaded soon by pmarket.

  • radonculous (registered bidder) 4 years, 6 monthsago

Also date of DME--I didn't find it. Thanks.

  • radonculous (registered bidder) 4 years, 6 monthsago

Any recent carfax? Any paint work or modifications?

  • 993nut (seller) 4 years, 6 monthsago
