Finished in Carrara White, this 2011 Porsche 987.2 Cayman is powered by a 2.9-liter flat-six engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission. The car was purchased stock by the seller and subsequently converted for track use with the installation of a 6-point roll cage, a Sparco QRT-R racing seat, a Schroth safety harness, a 991 GT3 Cup steering wheel, an AutoBlip module, Rennline wheel studs, stainless-steel brake lines, Sebro slotted front brake rotors, and more. Having been driven less than 100 miles with only one track day since the modifications were installed, this Cayman is now being offered for auction out of Florida.
This 987.2 is finished in Carrara White and features aftermarket taillights, auto-dimming mirrors, rain-sensing wipers, side air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and a center-mounted exhaust outlet. The car rides on aftermarket black-finished 18” wheels with polished outer lips, colored Porsche crest center caps, Rennline wheel studs, and new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires mounted within the last 100 miles. A set of used Hankook Ventus C51 racing slicks is also included. The seller notes stone chips on the hood and front bumper and paint fading and peeling on the roof. The CARFAX report shows minor water damage sustained in October 2024, resulting in a total loss declaration and a salvage title.
The Sand Beige interior has been stripped for weight savings, apart from the original dashboard. It features a welded 6-point roll cage, a Sparco QRT-R racing seat, a 6-point Schroth safety harness, a flat-bottom 991 GT3 Cup Alcantara steering wheel, and a carbon fiber panel mounted in place of the radio with an AutoBlip module attached. The seller notes the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS), airbag, and brake light warnings are present on the dashboard due to the modifications. The CARFAX report shows a Not Actual Mileage title issued in October 2024.
Factory-rated at 265 HP and 221 lb-ft of torque, the mid-mounted 2.9-liter flat-six engine drives the rear wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission. The braking system has been modified with stainless-steel lines, Motul 660 brake fluid, Sebro slotted front rotors, Hawk HPS front pads, Textar rear rotors, and Brembo rear pads.
This Cayman is offered with a bill of sale.
The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for visiting my auction. I bought the car from an auction and have transformed it into an entry-level track car. The Cayman retains stock suspension, drivetrain, and exhaust. Perfect entry-level track car that's very forgiving. Also, a great base for a full-out track build. I have been a Pcar owner for the last 15 years from 986-996 street and track cars. Feel free to ask any questions, and I will happily answer them.”

@Van_Slyke I was unable to find any water damage in the car, No waterline marked at auction. No water in foam under carpet. Control module under the seat had zero water damage. I will upload photos of when I picked up from the auction.
@Van914 I was presented with the opportunity to get one of dream cars.
Can you speak to the nature and amount of water damage that occurred to the car last October. I know that Port Charlotte and the Gulf coast was one of the areas that was impacted by the storms and flooding last fall.
