An update to the second-generation Porsche Boxster model, the 987.2 version debuted for the 2009 model year featuring more powerful new engines along with updated styling and driver technology. This 2011 example is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic and comes equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission as well as optional 18” Boxster S II wheels, heated and ventilated seats, climate control, PCM, Infotainment Package with Sound Package Plus, and more. A one-owner California car, this Boxster is now being offered for auction with just over 96k miles showing on the odometer.
The 987.2 received updated styling including new headlamps and taillights, larger front air intakes, LED daytime running lights, and twin diffusers flanking the central exhaust outlet. This Boxster is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic with a black convertible top and rides on optional 18" Boxster S II wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. The seller notes a scuff is present on the lower front bumper, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black standard leather interior includes optional heated and ventilated seats as well as automatic climate control, the Infotainment Package with Sound Package Plus, a storage box, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with a navigation module. Minor signs of wear are noted on the driver’s seat and the seller confirms all gauges and accessories to be working properly.
A mid-mounted 2.9-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 252 HP to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The Boxster accelerates from 0-60 MPH in less than 6 seconds onto a top speed of over 160 MPH. The seller states that proper routine maintenance has been observed as reflected in the CARFAX report with 25 service history records dating back to 2013.
This sale will include a clean title.

@JoeLA correct. Easy fix and not a big deal. It cost me $100 usd to have those elastic bands replaced by an upholstery shop.
The top has the common Boxster wear problem. The elastic bands wear out and the top doesnt stay inside the rails when closing. https://boxstertips.com/porsche-boxster-convertible-top-sides-not-tucked-in/

Trying to get video of roof open and closing, technical difficulties. I fully guarantee complete smooth operation of the top.
Finally got someone to storage facility to take pics (see Column of pics) of seats. I can not verify specific repairs. I can verify the car drives out very quite and tight.

@thecarexch addressing the questions will help bidders to better value the car. Definitely appreciate it if you can answer my questions from five days ago. In addition, it would be helpful if you could post a video demonstrating the top operation, both opening and closing.
@thecarexch Any responses on mtvnorm's questions? Thanks.

@thecarexch Nice car. I hope you can provide answers to a few questions.
1. I can't tell from the carfax report what services have been done. Are there service records? At 96k miles I'm wondering if the car still has the original clutch.
2. Could you provide a close up of the drivers seat where wear is present? I presume it's on the outboard seat back bolster but there's not a great angle int he current photos to evaluate the condition.
3. In pic #48 there appears to be a discoloration or blemish on the passenger side seat back. Could you provide a close up of this as well?
Thanks!
