Finished in Carrara White over Black leather, this 2011 Porsche 911 Targa was ordered new with optional painted wheels and exterior trim as well as exclusive clear taillights, heated and ventilated power seats, the Comfort Package, Infotainment Package, a 6-speed manual transmission, and more. It was reportedly acquired from the original owner’s family and is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer out of New Jersey showing approximately 40k miles on the odometer.
This 997.2 comes finished in Carrara White including optional painted grilles and lower facias as well as a painted rear model designation, painted side skirts, and Black-painted 19” Carrera S II wheels. Other optional features include exclusive clear taillights and Bi-Xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Lighting System (PDLS). Compared to the standard Carrera model, the Targa 4S sports wider fenders, a model-specific rear reflector band, and a large sliding glass roof system including an opening rear hatch and unique chrome accents along the roofline. Some cracks are present on the passenger-side taillight lens and the wheels are currently dressed in Bridgestone Potenza RE050A tires from 2018-19 and new lug nuts. The black interior includes optional heated and ventilated 12-way power seats, a heated steering wheel, the Bose Surround Sound System, and Porsche Communication Management 3.0 with an extended navigation module. Other optional equipment includes the ParkAssist System (rear), LED door pocket lighting, a SiriusXM satellite radio receiver, and self-dimming mirrors.
All four wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission paired with a 3.8-liter flat-six engine producing as much as 385 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque. The CARFAX report shows the replacement of the clutch in October of 2021 as well as a consistent history of service through authorized Porsche dealers dating back to the original pre-delivery inspection.

How is the Targa suspension different?
I really like the 997 targa, particularly the .2 version. For anyone who wants a more touring-oriented 997, the slightly softer suspension makes for a more comfortable ride, and you can tell your significant other it's a four-seat hatchback. This one appears to be a very nice build, with the manual, vented 12-way seats and additional painted bodywork / wheel options.
