Offered for auction is this 2011 Porsche 997.2 Turbo Coupe finished in GT Silver Metallic over a Cocoa Special Leather interior. Among the last of the 911 Turbos to have been offered with a manual transmission, this 2011 example has had only one owner from new and comes generosuly equipped with optional Adaptive Sport Seats, additional leather upholstery, deviated stitching, a crested storage bin lid, limited-slip differential, and more. Showing just over 44k miles on the odometer this 6-speed Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Oregon.
This 997.2 comes finished in GT Silver Metallic and rides on a set of upgraded 20” ADV1 wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires from 2014. The CARFAX report shows front-end damage to have occurred in 2016 and the seller states the hood, driver's side door, and fender were refinished as a result. The cabin is trimmed in Cocoa Special Leather with deviated stitching throughout. The optional Additional Interior Leather Package was selected along with extended leather trim covering the seatbacks and center console. Other factory options include a Porsche crested storage bin lid and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel.
Power comes from a direct fuel injected 3.8L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine which produces as much as 500 HP and 480 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission with an optional limited-slip differential in the rear. The CARFAX report includes 12 service history records dating back to 2011, and a 35k-mile service was completed in July of 2018. The seller notes an oil and filter change was also recently performed in December of 2021.

@Zajackso The car has Michelin Pilot Super Sports. The tire size for the fronts are 245/30ZR20 and the rears 325/25ZR20. The date codes for both the front tires are 17/2014 and 05/2014, and both the rear tires are 26/2014.
What type of tires are in the car and what are the date codes? Thanks

Here is an article from a few years ago about these last of the manual Turbos. They are very, very rare. The worldwide economic downturn meant Porsche made fewer 997.2 Turbos, and of those almost all were PDK.
I know the 997.1 Turbo guys love their Mezger engines, but the DFI engine introduced in the 997.2 ( and still used today)…
1. Has more power and torque
2. Has noticeably less turbo lag
3. Is lighter and more efficient
4. Has also proven to be bulletproof (and without glued coolant hoses that can fail at a cost of around $8k)
Also the AWD setup was improved and drives more like a RWD car.
When you look back at previous generations of Porsche Turbos:
1. The 964 was the last RWD Turbo, and now sell for around $300k
2. The 993 was the last air cooled Turbo, and now sell for around $300k
The 997.2 is the last MANUAL Turbo…when will they hit $300k?

Curious what damage was found by Trueframe on the Carfax dated 8/21.? The accident occurred in 2016, five years prior to inspection.
