This sale will be accompanied by a set of 2 keys, owner’s books, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, the original window sticker, and service records.  This low-mileage 6-speed Turbo makes the perfect choice for any highly selective enthusiast, do not miss out.

    @PCARMARKET Thanks guys.

  • PCARMARKET 3 years, 10 monthsago

Paint meter readings have been added to the listing.

  • shaneporschelover (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@userabc123 @Hartclay Either way mate, thanks for the helpful numbers your testimony pretty much says with your numbers this car is one of those that are limited in number in North America.

  • userabc123 (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

Not sure about your source. But that could be worldwide production if its accurate. I believe my North America numbers are accurate. There is a difference. Thanks.

  • siabond26 (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@shaneporschelover I emailed you couple of questions

  • shaneporschelover (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@userabc123 @Hartclay To answer your question, I got the numbers from this site: https://www.ianbevis.co.uk/porsche-911-997-series-production-numbers.
If your numbers are correct then it make my car even more desirable. specially with such low milage. Please place a bid.

  • userabc123 (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

This write up says 1 of 528 coupes built.? Where did that info come from? The factory? Does that include European cars and left hand drive cars maybe? Because shipped to us and Canada North American in 2011 porch reg site says 231 cars and only 113 manual shift cars. Thanks in advance for clarification. Happy bidding. Great car

@siabond26 Hi, sorry for the late reply. The paint is original however, the readings shall be there by tomorrow as i have asked for them to be uploaded. As for the dme report I have asked Porsche to do one for me. I can send it to you via email on the 29-11-2020, as that is the only time the dealer can do one.

  • shaneporschelover (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

To all You Ladies and Gentleman who have been kind enough to comment on this post . FYI, the additional pictures of Paint meter readings will be uploaded by Tmrw. Only 2 days left !!!

Hi Shane, can you please post a photo of the label on the passenger side door jam . This label is manufacturer’s certification label showing a maple leaf surrounding a national safety mark (NSM),
Any idea when you will be posting the DME report and paint meter readings
    Thank you for your cooperation

@owe222 Hello Owen , Your more than welcome to see the car.

  • amc222 (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

I purchased a Canadian Porsche in mid September of this year, it was finally delivered on November 9th . Im only 185 miles (3.5 hour drive) south of the selling dealership, border crossing is only 45 miles from this dealership! Believe what your hearing about difficulty Covid-19 has caused getting cars across the Canadian border. My car, like this one, is a rare build and worth the effort. Bidders make note that you can import this car legally, but you will be putting forth effort and expense ( I would budget $5-6000 US) . Are we bidding in Canadian dollars?

  • FloridaPerformance1 (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

  • shaneporschelover (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@Maximo thank you for the comments on the odmeter replacement. She is super clean .. place a bid ..

  • Maximo (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@Pump993 I bought a 997 Turbo on PCARMARKET from BC and imported it to USA. Yes, you have to pay a Customs Duty. I worked through Sharon Buckley at Cole International. She was very helpful (highly recommended). The duty on my car was approximately $2500. I read that the specs for the 997.1 was for North America, not specifically US or Canada. I can't speak for the 997.2. The analog speedometer is what throws me off. You can easily find information. I had no trouble whatsoever with Customs (thanks to Sharon).
Getting it across the border in a timely manner is the challenge. The shippers are backed up due to the pandemic and you can't go from US to Canada without 2-weeks quarantine. I picked up my car in Michigan because I got tired of waiting after 6 weeks. However, I had a WONDERFUL 11 hour drive home - just sayin.

It took me 5 minutes to convert the digital speedometer and odometer from KM to Miles. I did it in the parking lot of the hotel in Michigan. It's in the owners manual. My car does not have KPH on the analog speedometer but to be honest I never look at the analog anyway.

I hope this is helpful. I love my car and this is a beautiful car too. It was totally worth it for me. GLWTA

  • jazillon (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@shaneporschelover . . . It may matter if you are buying with the intention to import into the United States. The ODO face plate may need to be swapped in order to import the car (irrespective of being able to toggle between KM and M on the digital display). Best bet is to speak with a registered importer on what it will take to import the car into the United States if that is your intent.

Thanks for the service records; I look forward to reviewing the paint meter readings when they become available.

  • siabond26 (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

To Seller: Do you have paint meter numbers throughout the body of the car? Also, do you have a DME report on your car?

  • Pump993 (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

    @shaneporschelover I agree .

  • shaneporschelover (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@Pump993 The question is it really that important , seeing as the digital one can be changed to miles. so when driving your going end up looking at the digital one anyway. This is a rare car do remember only 218 odd cars came to NA in total. So I guess the toss up for you is a genuine Clean car with KH /M or a car with miles.

  • Pump993 (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@zone Thank. I did not know that the odometer is only programmed for kilometers

  • zone (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@Pump993 The odometer remains in the original units even though it is digital. It can't be changed unless you re-program the gauge cluster or swap it out. Going from 19,000 KMs to 12,000 miles will create other potential issues though. For example, the Carfax report will think the odometer was rolled back if it sees an entry from 19k to 12k.

  • shaneporschelover (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@Pump993 the Speeds is both as shown in the pictures, the digital can be changed to miles as well as Kh/m . Hope this answers the question.

  • Pump993 (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

    @zone

Thank you for the clarification. Isn't the odometer already digital ? Can it be changed to miles since it is already digital.

  • shaneporschelover (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@zone thanks for the question , The car is going into Porsche to have that reported on. Once I have the report It shall be posted on the site.

  • zone (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@shaneporschelover Do you have a recent DME report showing no over-revs in range 3,4,5,6? Thanks in advance!

  • zone (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@Pump993 The units on the digital gauges can be changed to miles/Fahrenheit but the physical gauges will remain in Km/h. Odometer will remain in KM unless you have it reprogrammed but then carfax will think there was a rollback.

  • shaneporschelover (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@Pump993 Hi there , to answer your first question I would point you to the following link https://www.hagerty.com/media/archived/how-to-import-a-car-from-canada-to-the-us/, here you should be able to get answers to your questions on importing a car from Canada.
The 2nd question about the odometer reading : the units can be change to read MPH from km/h. I wish I could answer your last question , because I don't Know as Canadian have much tighter rules with regards to emission i suspect that it would do. hope this answers your questions

  • Pump993 (registered bidder) 3 years, 10 monthsago

    Hi Shane
    Nice car.
Do you know if there are any import duty if the car is shipped to the US. ?
Pardon my next question, do the speedometer and odometer read kilometers and miles, can you change the readings from kilometers to miles.
Does the car meet US emission standards

  • shaneporschelover (seller) 3 years, 10 monthsago

@KvN Hello KvN, thanks for the question. Thank you. She is really beautiful . To answer your question the car is 100% stock no mods have been made to her as I believe some things are best left as they are meant to be. The car is kept in a my heated garage and yes she is still with me in Ontario.
