The 997.2 generation debuted in 2009 with an advanced dual-clutch PDK transmission and a more reliable direct fuel-injected flat-six engine. Finished in Speed Yellow over a Black full leather interior, this 2011 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S Cabriolet was factory configured with 19” Turbo II wheels, the Sports Exhaust System, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, the Infotainment Package, the Comfort Package, a body-color rear center console, and much more. Having spent much of its time in California, this 911 is now being offered for auction with approximately 33k miles showing on the odometer.
This example is finished in iconic Speed Yellow with a black power-retractable soft top. Compared to the standard Carrera, it can be distinguished as an S version with its red-painted brake calipers and quad exhaust outlets. Options include a “911” rear model designation and 19” Turbo II wheels with colored Porsche-crested center caps. The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires showing 2021 date codes at the front and 2020 at the rear. Slight imperfections are noted, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the Black full leather upholstery is accented by an optional body-color rear center console. Additional options include the Comfort Package, the Infotainment Package, a Sport Chrono Package Plus stopwatch dial, a Bluetooth phone interface, a universal audio interface, and interior-colored floor mats. Very minor wear is noted, although all gauges and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
Factory-rated at 385 HP and 310 lb-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine drives the rear wheels through an optional 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) automatic transmission. Paired with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, this Carrera S Cabriolet can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 4.5 seconds. The Sports Exhaust System was also opted for. The seller notes that a major drive belt service was performed in April 2025, and a total of 10 service history entries are shown on the CARFAX report.
