Topping Porsche’s Carrera model range, the GTS version includes wider fenders along with center-lock wheels, the Sport Exhaust System, and a more powerfully tuned engine as standard equipment. Equipped with a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission, this 2011 997.2 Carrera GTS Cabriolet comes finished in Guards Red over an optional black full leather interior with Adaptive Sport Seats, crested headrests, and BOSE Surround Sound System.
The exterior is finished in Guards Red with contrasting “Carrera GTS” logos in black along the bottoms of each door. It rides on factory black-painted 19” RS Spyder Design center-lock wheels dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport tires.
Inside, the cabin is appointed with optional black full leather upholstery in favor of the standard GTS Alcantara package. It includes a pair of heated Adaptive Sport Seats with driver memory and Porsche-crested headrests as well as a Sport Look footrest, the ParkAssist System (rear), BOSE Surround Sound System, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM 3.0) with extended navigation.
This GTS is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine rated at 408 HP, driving the rear wheels via a 7-speed PDK transmission. Porsche Sports Exhaust (PSE), Porsche Traction Management (PTM), and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) are also equipped as standard on the GTS. The CARFAX report shows a long history of routine maintenance carried out by the original selling dealership including a 20k-mile service in 2018.
This sale will include a clean title.

Too bad no Chrono especially since it is GTS. I would definitely jump on it if it had it.

@Redcab I will try to get some photos of the under body today. Keep in mind it has only been in Iowa for a month. Hasn't had a chance to see bad weather yet!
I have a earlier version of your car a 911 Red Cab with the same same color scream in leather…. I did not intend to purchase a Cab period. It did come with a hard too we I purchased the car but took it off and have yet to put iit back on. I live on the Gulf Coast and I may drop the top in December, January and February…during the day…. It is a blast. And when I purchase another car I will totally rehab it a give it to my Grandson that is 1.5 years old…I do love the Guards Red….. your winter’s are cold …. Do you by chance have any undercarriage photos ? Thanks
@GTSence The herd is thinning!
@G50Targa thanks... and nice to meet another! We're 2 of 20 now actually, since I learned that one of the 21 was wrecked.
@GTSence , See my post to the seller. I meant to send it to you.
@targahawk , Thanks for the Meteor Grey GTS manual article. I am among the 21, but don’t have any of the “1 of 1” optioned cars. Love my 3 pedals!
I enjoy your website as well.
Good morning PCar Community. I just wanted to make a comment and let all of you know that I am available to answer any questions you may have about the GTS. Feel free to hit the Contact Seller button and reach out!
The car came to us out of Florida and received a full inspection and service with our Porsche tech after it arrived. The GTS holds its own against some of the heavyweights from the 997 era. Not to mention the Exhaust note is intoxicating.
I have some real video walkaround footage, as well as a cold start that should be uploaded today!
Bid in the amount of $31,000
@tjduffeyjr1 around 70% of the 997 GTS cabs were delivered with PDK in the US, so it's tough to find a 6 spd. I agree though, it's a much better set up for this car. On the plus side, less than 6% of the GTSs we're delivered in Guards Red. It's not the most rare color, but certainly not common either.
I just wrote about my Meteor Grey 997 GTS cab. It's one of 21 in the US with a 6 spd. I shared links to all of the sources I used to analyze the 21 cars if someone is interested in doing the same for this car... https://www.gtsence.com/how-rare-is-your-997-gts/

So close yet so sad. No Sport Chrono, PDK in a 997, and drilled front bumper cover. Otherwise so very nice. Beautiful presentation GLWTA!
WOW!
I was never drawn to Cabriolets. And then I saw this one.
Every little thing about this auto is perfect. And the combination of the wheels against guards red. Wow!
