This 2011 Porsche 997.2 Carrera Coupe is finished in Carrara White over a Sand Beige interior and factory-equipped with a 7-speed PDK transmission, heated and ventilated front seats, and the BOSE Surround Sound System. It was acquired by the seller as a Porsche-Approved Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in 2022 and modified with 19” Fuchs-style wheels, Bilstein dampers, Eibach lowering springs, Morimoto LED headlights, an Alcantara SportDesign steering wheel with paddle shifters, RS-style door pull loops, red seatbelts, illuminated stainless-steel door sills, Function First engine mounts, and a custom exhaust system. Showing approximately 69k miles on the odometer, this 997.2 is now being offered for auction out of California.

This Carrera Coupe is finished in Carrara White and features custom black-housing Morimoto XB LED headlamps, black rear stone guard decals, a red Cup-style front tow strap, a “911” rear model designation, clear side marker lenses, and quad Fabspeed exhaust tips. It came factory-equipped with fog lights, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, heated power mirrors, and rain-sensing wipers. Under current ownership, the lower rocker panels were refinished in black, the spoiler motor was serviced, upgraded Stabilius rear hatch struts were installed, the left front wheel arch liner was replaced, and a Suncoast Parts inner hood protector was fitted. The car rides on 19” Fuchs-style wheels with ECS Tuning 15mm spacers. The TPMS sensors were replaced in 2022 and new Michelin Pilot Sport N2 tires measuring 235/35 in front and 305/30 rear were installed in 2023.

The Sand Beige interior is factory-equipped with optional heated and ventilated power-adjustable sport seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), and the BOSE Surround Sound System. It has been modified with an Alcantara-wrapped SportDesign steering wheel with paddle shifters, a matching Alcantara gear selector, red RS-style door pull straps, red seatbelts, Coco floor mats, and stainless-steel door sills with illuminated Carrera logos. The PCM head unit has been retrofitted with a JoyeAuto chip for Bluetooth and Apple CarPlay connectivity. The seller notes the rear spoiler control button was replaced along with several trim pieces under their ownership, and the airbag warning light has been present since the red seatbelts were installed.

Factory-rated at 345 HP and 288 lb.-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated and direct fuel-injected 3.6-liter flat-six engine is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission driving the rear wheels. The engine has been modified with Function First motor mounts and Fister side resonators. The suspension has also been modified with Bilstein dampers and Eibach lowering springs. The transmission was serviced in September 2022, the PDK clutch oil was replaced in August 2023, the engine oil was changed in December 2023, and the mass airflow sensor was recently replaced in preparation for sale. The last California emissions test was passed on November 1, 2024.

This sale will include a collection of original parts that have been removed, service records, CPO warranty documents, and a clean title.

The "custom exhaust system" referred to in the description by PCar = twin Fister (side) mufflers.

@BOCO Hi yes Porsche said it’s $640 to remove the seats and check the connector for the seat belt which they diagnosed as at fault. I haven’t done it but post purchase can sort out with the new owner to address if they would like. It hasn’t bothered me at all in my daily driving of this car.

Have you had the airbag light diagnosed?

A thoughtfully upgraded 911. Really nice build.

Hi everyone, thanks for stopping by. I hope everyone has a happy Thanksgiving!

This 997 was my first Porsche and has been a joy to own. I bought this car because I wanted a reliable daily driver that wouldn't have any of the IMS issues, and was in super clean condition, never tracked or abused and certified by Porsche.

I love the sporty feel of it, the power that is there if you need it.
And on top of how it drives it's a car that makes you turn around and look back at it after you've parked.

If you like to fix cars for fun this probably isn't the car for you because everything has been sorted already - under the watchful eye of the local Porsche dealership. It was basically under the Porsche CPO warranty for the whole of my ownership so anything that was ever an issue was taken care of, and on top of that I added a lot of upgrades including new tires, new Fuchs, new sports steering wheel with paddle shifters, new brake pads, new brake rotors, new suspension - and all with less than 1000 miles on them. So it's truly ready for you to enjoy without worries.

I'm selling because I have an older air cooled car now and it needs all my attention!

Disclaimer - I wasn't able to review the ad before it went live (my bad not PCar's)...so I should mention a few errors in the description:

    1. The last California emissions test was passed just a few weeks ago on November 1 2024.

    2. To reduce the noice and vibration I removed the Sharkwerks center rear muffler component and restored the original OEM center muffler. If you'd like the Sharkwerks as part of the sale we can discuss.

    3. To provide a softer ride I also removed the semi-hard RSS motor mounts and replaced them with Function First mounts that are closer to the more compliant comfortable OEM feel. Again, if you'd like those mounts as part of the sale we can work something out.
