As the second generation of Porsche’s GT3 homologation special, the RS version of the 997 GT3 was produced in limited numbers. It boasts wider bodywork, enhanced aerodynamics, additional weight savings, and a more powerful flat-six Mezger engine. Among the last of the GT3 RS variants to utilize the legendary Mezger engine paired with a 6-speed manual transmission, this 2011 example comes finished in Grey Black with Guards Red RS-specific livery over a Black full leather cabin. It is further equipped with the Sound Package Plus, Sport Chrono Package without PCM, Dynamic Cornering Lights, Bluetooth connectivity, and an aftermarket Shark Werks exhaust. Showing under 7k kilometers (approximately 4k miles) on the odometer, this true collector’s item is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Canada.
For the 997.2 generation, the 911 GT3 RS gained a wider rear end derived from the all-wheel-drive 911s along with front wheel arch extensions, a revised front fascia, and a larger carbon fiber rear wing supported by aluminum struts. This example comes finished in Grey Black with contrasting Guards Red graphics and matching accents along the mirror caps, grille surround, wing end plates, and 19” GT3 RS center-lock wheels. Other details include Dynamic Cornering Lights, red-painted brake calipers, and dual center-mounted exhaust pipes. The seller adds that full paint protection film has been applied along with a full ceramic coating. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the driver is enveloped by purposefully designed Back full leather and Alcantara upholstery. Weight-saving factory features include carbon fiber Sport bucket seats, cloth door pulls, and a rear seat deletion. Additional equipment comprises Guards Red seatbelts, an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel featuring a yellow 12 o'clock marker, and a Sport Chrono stopwatch dial, selected without PCM. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are confirmed to be in proper working order.
Power comes from a highly sought-after naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine featuring titanium connecting rods, VarioCam variable valve timing, dynamic engine mounts, and a titanium sport muffler. An impressive 444 HP and 317 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through a desirable 6-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH is achieved in approximately 3.8 seconds, continuing onto speeds north of 190 MPH. The car also comes standard with RS-specific Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM). Additionally, both the sound and performance of the vehicle are enhanced with an aftermarket Shark Werks exhaust system.
This sale will include a clean title.

Yes, the Sharwerks is a center muffler delete but we will have the original muffler come with the car
I love PCCB and for the most part I cannot buy a GT3 without them. Only because of wheel dust and I'm neurotic. But this car would be an exception. This is about as close as you can get to a 997.2 GT3RS that's in the wrapper. Front axle lift is a non-issue.
Is the Sharkwerks a center muffler delete?

Just a side note, since we are on the topic of the brakes and brake dust. The wheels are fully ceramic coated inside and out, making the cleaning process much easier
Only advantage of pccb brakes is the don’t throw as much dust on the wheels...this car will stop very quickly with either option. Axle lift or no axle lift...you need to buy the black plastic splitter from Porsche and change it out when you sell or if you ever sell....because it will get scuffed
@bobbysteels the brakes are truly a preference and understandable to want the ceramics but to pass on a car like this because of a front lift, my advice would be get driving lessons. Silly stuff guys get real. I have one of these and it will never leave my garage. You guys want to be so picky, you are just missing out on years and miles of enjoyment

No, it does not have vehicle lift option and does not have PCCB. Steel brakes more cost efficient (:
