Up for auction is this 2011 997 Carrera GTS. The original owner purchased the GTS in 2011 and drove just 2500 miles before the current owner/seller purchased the car. The car has been garage kept in Alabama and has traveled only 18K miles since its purchase from the original owner 6 years ago. He also states that the car has been consistently serviced at Jack Ingram Porsche in Montgomery, AL for the last 5 years.
The 997 GTS features a 3.8L Flat 6 engine that turns out 408HP with a PDK dual clutch transmission. This car is very generously equipped with an MSRP of over $124K. Some of the features include: sports suspension, sport chrono package, a factory aerokit cup, navigation, and a Bose Sound system. The all-original Carrara White paint is complimented by a black Alcantara interior. Paint protection film was installed when the car was new on the hood, fenders, front bumper and mirrors. Photos show the film has slightly yellowed from oxidation and may need to be replaced. There are also scrapes on the chin spoiler and small scratches on the wheels.
The black Alcantara interior has been very well cared for and features factory heated Adaptive Sport Memory Seats. The GTS provides its occupants with a perfect combination of sport and luxury, making it one of the most sought after models in the Porsche line up
All in all, this GTS is said to be in excellent working condition with extensive service documentation from Jack Ingram Porsche. The owner does states the front tires are original and may need to be replaced. The car is completely stock other than some desirable upgrades of stainless steel brake lines and Gyro disc brake rotors with aluminum hat.
The 997 is the second generation of the water cooled 911 and is said by many to be the last of the analog Porsche sports cars. Spanning from 2005 to 2012, the 997’s size and sporty nature has placed the car in a very special place in Porsche history. The GTS model features many interior and exterior upgrades from the base and S model and is not to be missed!
The car will come with a clean Carfax, 2 sets of keys, and an owners manual.

@SSTwin I tracked it a couple of times when i first bought it. Absolutely no paint or body work.
