The R56 Mini Cooper S has gained recognition for its compact size, agile handling, and fun-to-drive nature. This 2011 example comes finished in black over a matching leather interior and was acquired by the seller in August of 2018 in Pennsylvania at approximately 6,600 miles. Under the care of the seller, a host of upgrades have been made to the exhaust and intake systems, suspension, brakes, and more. It is now being offered by its seller out of New Jersey while showing just over 20k miles on the odometer.
This R56 Mini comes finished in black and features front and rear fog lights, a hood scoop, a rear window wiper, red-finished brakes, and a rear spoiler. Under the care of the seller, the chrome exterior trim has been refinished in black. The seller reports that the finish remains in good overall condition aside from a scratch on the rear bumper. It rides on a set of aftermarket wheels which come dressed in a set of newer Toyo Proxes R tires. A collection of images can be found in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX.
The cabin is upholstered in black leather. Amenities include air conditioning, a leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel, a CD stereo, satellite radio, power windows, and cruise control. The seller has added auxiliary water temperature and boost pressure gauges that are not currently wired. All other gauges lights and features are confirmed to remain functional.
Power comes from an N18 turbocharged 1.6L inline four-cylinder engine which has been upgraded with a free-flowing intake and exhaust system as well as an oil catch can. The front wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed automatic transmission. The suspension and brakes have also been upgraded and a front strut bar has been added. The seller notes that all upgrades were performed by Drive Auto Works of Mountainside, New Jersey, and regular oil and filter services have been carried out at 4k-mile intervals.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: "Thank you for visiting my listing. I have owned this car since August 2018. Used mainly for pleasure on the weekends, kept all the maintenance up to date. All the modifications were made by mechanics at Drive Auto Works in Mountainside NJ. The idea was to be used in the track, but never got the chance, since life got busy with 3 kids. This is a fun car to drive, especially with all the mods in place."

@jgbirk The listing has been corrected.
@Spin Hi there, the text is wrong, I will ask for pcar to update it, it was always automatic from the factory. I just installed the gauges but did not finalize the wiring and sensors in place. I have the rest of the kit in the box with instructions. I built for track in mind but never got the time to go, nearest track to my house is ~3h and life got busy.
Did u have the clutch peddle and transmission swapped out (o:
Pictures suggest this is an automatic but the text states 6 speed manual. What problem did u encounter with the aux gauges--why are they not functional? Based on the upgrades, have u tracked / raced the car or had plans to? Thx for the clarifications.
Hi there and thank you for visiting my listing! As my father in law likes to say, this is a white fly with blue eyes, meaning is a hard to find type of deal =) I take excellent care of all cars I own, this is no exception. Unfortunately family grew and made it impossible to enjoy it the way I want. So now you have the chance to enjoy what I have built with love and dedication using the best parts possible. Good luck and happy to answer any questions!
