Introduced in 2010, the Mercedes-Benz SLS was the first production car designed and engineered entirely by Mercedes-AMG, combining lightweight aluminum construction with a front-mid-mounted naturally aspirated V8 to deliver a modern tribute to the iconic 300 SL. This 2011 example is finished in Sapphire Red Metallic over Black/Anthracite Exclusive leather and features a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transaxle, a limited-slip differential, bi-xenon headlamps, a power-deployable rear wing, 19″ and 20″ forged AMG wheels, heated power-adjustable seats, COMAND infotainment with navigation, a high-end sound system, and more. Showing under 11k miles on the odometer, this SLS is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York.
The SLS is distinguished by its long hood, short rear deck, and iconic gullwing doors. This example is finished in Sapphire Red Metallic and features bi-xenon headlamps, pop-out handles, and a power-deployable rear wing. Additional details include streaked front fender vents, power-folding mirrors, Parktronic parking sensors, and polished dual exhaust outlets. It rides on staggered-width 19″ front and 20″ rear forged wheels wrapped in Continental ContiSportContact tires from 2014. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is upholstered in Exclusive Black/Anthracite leather covering the power-adjustable and heated AMG sport seats, dashboard, and door panels, complemented by contrasting stitching and AMG-branded aluminum trim accents. Interior features include a flat-bottom AMG Performance steering wheel wrapped in leather and Alcantara, dual-zone automatic climate control, the Memory Package for the seats, mirrors, and steering column, COMAND infotainment with navigation and DVD changer, Sirius satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and a premium high-end audio system. Additional amenities include a rearview camera, illuminated AMG-branded door sills, and a black microfiber headliner.
Power comes from a naturally aspirated 6.3-liter M159 DOHC V8 engine, which delivers a factory-rated 563 HP and 479 lb-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. It is equipped with a sport-tuned suspension, a speed-sensitive power steering, and grey AMG-branded brake calipers paired with cross-drilled and slotted rotors on all four corners. The CARFAX report shows 20 service history entries.

766 are forged 10 spoke wheels that were a $2400 option.
B14 carbon fiber engine cover was a $5400 option and not many takers at that price.
