Available for auction is this 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG finished in Obsidian Black over a Black/Anthracite Exclusive Leather interior. Introduced as the spiritual successor to the legendary 300SL Gullwing Coupe, the SLS AMG is a hand-assembled GT-style supercar powered by a robust 6.2-liter V8 engine rated at over 560 HP. This example comes fitted with many desirable options such as carbon fiber trim, the AMG Performance Steering Wheel, and staggered 19”/20” AMG Forged Wheels. Supported by routine maintenance since new, this two-owner SLS AMG is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York showing approximately 6k miles on the odometer.
This Mercedes is finished in Obsidian Black and rides on optional staggered 19”/20” AMG Forged Wheels. Perhaps the most distinguishing feature of the SLS AMG is its roof-hinged doors which pay homage to the 300SL Gullwing of 1954. Other noteworthy details include a retractable rear wing that can be used as an airbrake, a lightweight aluminum bodyshell, and an F1-style rear fog/reverse light. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report, and some scuffs are noted on the underside of the front bumper.
Inside, the cabin is appointed with Black/Anthracite Exclusive Leather upholstery and includes the AMG Performance Steering Wheel, carbon fiber trim, a rear-view camera, Sirius Satellite Radio, automatic climate control, a black microfiber roof liner, and adaptive rear interior lighting. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be working properly.
The SLS is equipped with an AMG-designed 6.2-liter V8 engine that produces as much as 563 HP and 479 lb.-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch automated manual transmission, a lightweight carbon fiber drive shaft, and a mechanical limited-slip differential that allow acceleration from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3.5 seconds with a top speed governed at 196 MPH. This example is said to have been regularly maintained per dealer recommendations as reflected in the CARFAX report.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, and a battery charger.

@Jbwz65 Hello. There is no PPF on the car, meter readings are in the gallery. Only what is pictured is what comes with the car. Please keep in mind the seller left the vehicle at our HQ and has a very fair reserve with full intention of selling the car today. Don't miss out.
Any copies of the maintenance records that will come with the car? Any PPF on the car? Thanks

This appears to be heading to RNM, this car is easily 100k over the current bid. I have a 2012 SLS Gull Wing and these cars are worth all the money. What a show stopper!

@1800alexma I can see signs of scrapping in some of the pictures provided. I have a couple of these in my collection and because they are low and long, the front ends can get beaten up pretty badly. Any pictures of the from valance would be appreciated. Thanks

@CCCltd To my knowledge the tires are original. As a vehicle that was only driven to and from the golf course we hadn’t felt it to be needed to change the tires as no cracking or dry out of tires was shown. The car is with the auctioneers at the moment, I will do my best to get images for you. I assume you want to see any scratching due to bottoming out? I know if any it is minor, but I’ll do my best to gather images. Thanks
@WNGD Oil has been changed yearly. Along with all recommended maintenance By RALLYE Mercedes. I’d say the only item that was not done as regularly as per the norm was cabin filters. But those were all changed for listing
Can you add some pictures of the underside of front and rear splitters? Especially under the front of the car. Also, what part of the car had the 6+ on the paint meter. Are you aware of any paint work that has been done? Are the tires original? Thanks
What is "regularly scheduled maintenance" on a car that's never driven?
Keeping air in the tires and a time, not mileage determined oil change?
Beautiful car.
