Incorporating technologies derived from Ferrari’s Formula One experience, the 458 Italia marked a major advancement in the marque’s road-going sports cars with its advanced aerodynamics, 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, and standard carbon-ceramic brakes. This 2011 example is finished in Rosso Corsa over Beige leather upholstery and features carbon fiber interior trim, additional leather appointments, red seatbelts, AFS headlights, yellow brake calipers, Scuderia fender shields, and more. Showing approximately 17k miles on the odometer, this 458 Italia is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California.
The 458 Italia's Pininfarina-designed bodywork seamlessly integrates air intakes and outlets throughout the exterior, as well as deformable winglets in the front grille, an aerodynamic diffuser at the rear, F40-inspired triple exhaust outlets, and a flat underbody derived from the F430 GT2. This example is finished in traditional Rosso Corsa with optional Scuderia fender shields, yellow-painted brake calipers, and AFS headlights. It rides on silver-finished 20” 5-spoke alloy wheels wrapped in tires from 2020. Full paint protection film and windshield film have been applied. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the cabin is appointed with Beige leather upholstery and features optional details such as a leather-wrapped central tunnel, lower tunnel, and interior grids, along with a carbon fiber driver zone, red contrast stitching, and red seatbelts. Additional options include electrically operated seats, power-folding mirrors, HomeLink, and an iPod connection. Standard equipment includes Cavallino-embossed headrests, a Manettino steering wheel, and front and rear parking sensors. The seller notes the left taillight warning is illuminated. However, the taillights are fully operational.
This 458 Italia is equipped with a naturally aspirated 4.5-liter V8 engine featuring a flat-plane crankshaft, variable intake timing, and direct fuel injection. Up to 562 HP and 398 lb.-ft of torque are sent to the rear wheels through a Getrag 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and E-Diff electronic limited-slip differential. The car comes standard with carbon ceramic brakes, adaptive magnetorheological dampers, the F1-Trac traction control system, and a Manettino drive mode selector mounted on the steering wheel. The CARFAX report lists six service history entries. Service performed in April 2023 included an oil & filter change and a brake fluid flush & change, while service performed in July 2024 included an emissions inspection and oil & filter change.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a window sticker, a toolkit, a spare tire, a car cover, and a battery charger.
The seller would like you to know: “Hey everyone, and welcome to my auction! I’m excited to offer my Ferrari 458 Italia, a true masterpiece of design, performance, and naturally aspirated V8 power. This car has been an absolute joy to own, but it’s time for someone else to experience what makes the 458 so special.
This 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia is finished in Rosso Corsa over Tan. It features Ferrari’s legendary 4.5L naturally aspirated V8, producing 562 horsepower and revving all the way to 9,000 RPM. Paired with the 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, the shifts are instant and seamless, making every drive feel like an event.
This car is truly one of the last great naturally aspirated Ferraris, and the sound alone is worth the price of admission—it screams as you climb past 8,000 RPM. The steering is razor-sharp and full of feedback, making every corner feel alive. The chassis balance is incredible, and whether you’re pushing it on a twisty road or just cruising down Pacific Coast Highway like I do, the 458 feels refined yet raw in all the right ways. Unlike some older exotics, the dual-clutch gearbox makes it perfectly enjoyable in traffic while still delivering brutal shifts when you want them.
I've taken great care of this car, keeping it in excellent condition with all services up to date, always garaged, never driven in the rain and every square inch protected in PPF. The paint is much more spectacular when seen live. It has low miles on the clock and comes with original accessories like books, cover, tender, tools, window sticker and service records.
Whether you're looking for a weekend toy, a collectible modern classic, this 458 will deliver in every way. Feel free to ask any questions in the comments—I’m happy to provide more details. Best of luck bidding!”

Thank you Zoom for all the details. I'm asking these questions on behalf of my father-in-law (resident of NV) who's looking for a 458 Italia. Be in touch and GLWS
@Imagerep @ImagerepThanks again for the detailed and thoughtful questions — they’re exactly the kind of due diligence any serious buyer should ask.
I’ll go point-by-point:
Service History & Ownership:
I’m not the original owner. I purchased the car in 2021 from a Ferrari dealer. The car has approx. 17,000 miles and is accompanied by a thorough service history. I have all records dating back to my ownership including all major maintenance from authorized Ferrari service centers and specialists.A full PDF of the records can be sent over directly or uploaded to the auction listing.
Current Carfax is available and shows clean history: no accidents, consistent mileage, and routine service logged.
Condition – Paint, Interior, and Wheels:
Paint:
presents extremely well. No known repainted panels. Entire car covered with PPF, Paint thickness readings can be provided if requested. PPF typically adds 6–8 mils (~150–200 microns) to the reading, depending on film brand.
Wheels:
Original wheels, no refinishing. There are two tiny nicks on the front right wheel, nothing structural.
Windshield:
Windshield Protective Film by Clearplex
Interior:
Leather is in excellent condition with no deep staining. There is is no wear on the seats, detailed photos are included in the listing.
Mechanical & Electrical Condition:
Mechanically strong with no known drivetrain or suspension issues. The left rear light error message appears intermittently. The light functions properly and has passed inspection. I’ve not replaced it as the issue is minor and common to some 458s, but it can be addressed if the buyer prefers.
Local Viewing Option :
Since you’re just 2 hours away, I’d be happy to schedule a private showing or test drive. I understand how important it is to see paint, interior, and trim details in natural light without photo glare. That’s absolutely doable.Let me know if you’d like to set up a visit, or if you'd prefer I send more targeted photos/videos of specific areas first. Either way, I want to make sure you have full confidence in what you’re seeing.
Thanks again — looking forward to connecting further.
@dino70089 Thank you
@warhorse It's very easy to answer some of your questions yourself. Ferrari web site will tell you if there's any outstanding recalls for a given VIN (https://www.ferrari.com/en-EN/auto/recall-information). The Carfax report (link) is already provided in the listing...
There are no open recalls on this VIN number.
Any outstanding recalls not addressed?
Zoom, can you please elaborate about all past service docs? Being that there is 17k mi, I would expect you have all docs since new. Also, Carfax docs available? Are you the original owner? if not, some past owner history please. Lastly, being that photos were shot with bright sunlight, it's had to determine the imperfections to glare, including the wheels. Interior as well. Looks like there may be Carbon Fiber wear, but not sure. Staining of leather? Can you explain some on all paint and wheel flaws? You have paint thickness readings available? Thank you. For a potential buyer, knowing all flaws is as important as it's attributes. Oh, Lastly, list all known electrical and mechanical issues. There is mention of the left rear light error message displayed on the dash. Is there a reason you never had this corrected? Thank you!
That’s a wonderful thing, the mellifluous exhaust sound of the 458 preserved.
@warhorse upon research you're correct — many early 2010–2011 Ferrari 458s were reprogrammed during dealer service visits, often as part of emissions or ECU updates, which reduced or eliminated the factory exhaust crackles and overrun pops. My service advisor at Ferrari stated "this particular 2011 458 VIN 178597 has not been updated in that way". Therefore this vehicle retains its original factory exhaust programming and still produces the signature pops and crackles under deceleration and gear changes.
‘10s/‘11s, upon service visits, were reprogrammed by dealers to eliminate exhaust snaps, pops and crackles often without owner permission. What is that status on this vehicle?
Hi everyone, and thanks for checking out my auction!
I’m thrilled to present my 2011 Ferrari 458 Italia—an iconic blend of Italian design, stunning Italian automotive excellence that combines breathtaking design, precision engineering, incredible performance, and the unmistakable thrill of a naturally aspirated V8. Owning this car has been a truly rewarding experience, but now it’s time for someone else to experience what makes the 458 so special. This 458 is finished in the iconic Rosso Corsa exterior over a classic Tan leather interior. Under the hood is Ferrari’s renowned 4.5-liter naturally aspirated V8, producing 562 horsepower and revving to an exhilarating 9,000 RPM. Mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission, gear changes are instant and smooth, turning every drive into something special.
This model represents one of the last pure, high-revving Ferraris before the turbo era, and the engine note alone is unforgettable—a rising wail that builds as you push past 8,000 RPM. The steering is precise and communicative, offering a connection to the road that's hard to match. Whether you're taking it through canyon roads or enjoying a coastal cruise (as I often do on the Pacific Coast Highway), the 458 offers an ideal mix of raw excitement and refined drivability. The dual-clutch transmission also makes city driving completely manageable while still delivering aggressive shifts when you want to push it.
This car has been pampered and well-maintained, with all scheduled services up to date. It's been garage-kept, never driven in the rain, and is completely wrapped in paint protection film to preserve its finish. The paint looks even more stunning in person. It has low mileage and comes complete with the original books, tools, car cover, battery tender and window sticker.
Whether you're looking for a thrilling weekend driver or a blue-chip modern classic, this Ferrari 458 Italia delivers on all fronts. Feel free to drop any questions in the comments—I'm happy to share more.
