This BMW M3 Sedan is said to be one of only 237 U.S. examples configured with a 6-speed manual transmission and "slicktop" sunroof delete for the 2011 model year. Finished in Space Grey Metallic over a Silver Novillo leather interior, it features Premium Package 2, 19” Style 220 wheels, a standard radio, and Dinan cat-back exhaust system. A recent Blackstone Laboratories oil analysis reports excellent engine/oil health, and the seller states the throttle actuators have been replaced. Showing just under 46k miles on the odometer, this 2011 M3 sedan is now being offered at auction by its seller out of California.

The body is finished in Space Grey Metallic (A52) and features flared wheel arches, front fender vents, M-specific bumpers, flared side skirts, an aluminum power dome hood, quad exhaust tips, and rear decklid spoiler. Equipment includes a fixed roof (sunroof delete), gloss black Shadowline trim, adaptive xenon headlights, rain-sensing wipers, and LED tail lamps. The seller reports the paint has been corrected and notes very minor rock chips on the front end. The seller also notes the rear windshield rubber molding is dry and cracking, although new OEM pieces are said to accompany the sale. The CARFAX report shows a minor incident in May of 2015 that damaged the rear bumper. The optional 19” Style 220 wheels are mounted with new Michelin tires.

The interior is upholstered in Silver Novillo leather with Carbon Leather trim on the dashboard, center console, and doors. The optional Premium Package equips power-folding automatic mirrors, a universal garage door opener, power-adjustable front seats, a compass mirror, and BMW Assist with Bluetooth, and an optional iPod and USB adapter. Standard amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and a standard AM/FM/CD/MP3 radio which provides a single hump dashboard without navigation or the iDrive system.

This M3 is equipped with a naturally aspirated S65 4.0L V8 engine that generates up to 414 HP at a redline of 8,300 RPM. The rear wheels are driven through a 6-speed manual transmission with a Variable M Differential Lock. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH occurs in 4.4 seconds and the top speed is electronically governed at 155 MPH. Compared with a standard 3-Series, the M3 receives larger brakes, stiffer rubber bushings, shorter and stiffer springs, and thicker anti-roll bars. A Dinan cat-back exhaust system has been fitted, although the original exhaust is said to accompany the sale. The seller reports that the throttle actuators were replaced by BMW of Mountain View, California in 2016, and multiple Blackstone Laboratories oil analyses have shown the rod bearings are healthy and do not require replacement.

This sale will include a clean title.

Somebody is going to be very happy with this car. Had a 2008 two-door and would totally have swapped it for this spec.

@responsemotors thank you. Very much appreciated.

@drivejojo We paint metered the whole car, and the only area indicating paintwork is the lower portion of the driver's side rear quarter panel where they blended when the rear bumper was refinished. All other areas are very consistent throughout and don't show any signs of paintwork.

@Totdoc67 The original owner stated the car was hit while parked which required the rear bumper to be refinished. The damage was minor, as noted by Carfax, but since insurance was involved it’s reflected on the report.

Also interested to hear about what was repaired/replaced during the referenced accident.

@Firewood Thanks for your comment and questions. The E90 M3 with the 6-speed manual transmission is a great driving experience and sounds fantastic. It is a blast to drive! There are no strange noises, and the AC functions well.

  • Firewood (registered bidder) 2 years, 4 monthsago

Hi. Nice M3. I bet it's a blast to drive. Love the single-hump dash. How does the engine sound at rev? No valves noise? Also, been hot as hades here lately, and seems everywhere else too... does the A/C blow strong & cold? Thanks & glwta!
