This first-generation Audi R8 V10 Quattro Spyder is one of just 1,145 examples sold in North America for 2011 and even fewer that came equipped with the larger V10 engine and gated 6-speed manual transmission. Finished in Sepang Blue Pearl over Titanium Gray leather upholstery, it features Carbon Sigma interior inlays, a Bang and Olufsen sound system, 19” double-spoke wheels, and much more. This two-owner R8 V10 is now being offered for auction by the selling dealer out of Pennsylvania with approximately 15k miles on the odometer.
The V10-powered Audi R8 5.2 can be distinguished from its V8 counterpart by more aggressive body styling, full-LED headlights, larger rear brakes, dual-outlet exhaust system, chrome-trimmed grille, and “V10” badging on the front fenders. This Spyder version comes finished in Sepang Blue Pearl with a black retractable soft top and Aluminum Optic details for the windscreen frame, fuel filler cap, and engine cover vents. Other features a speed-activated rear spoiler and black rear bumper & diffuser accents. It rides on 19” double-spoke wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position tires.
Inside, the driver-focused Titanium Gray-upholstered cabin features Carbon Digna inlays, a multifunction flat-bottom steering wheel, and a polished gated shifter. The equipment also includes aluminum pedals, a digital driver's information screen, a Bang and Olufsen sound system, Audi Navigation Plus, a rearview camera, and automatic climate control. Blemishes are notes on the infotainment screen.
Under the rear hatch lies a Lamborghini-derived 5.2-liter V10 FSI engine, generating up to 525 HP and 391 lb.-ft of torque. Power is delivered to all four wheels through a highly desirable 6-speed manual transmission and Audi’s Quattro all-wheel-drive system. Other performance features include an electronic differential lock (EDL), an Audi magnetic ride adaptive damping system, Servotronic electromechanical speed-sensitive power steering, and an electronic stabilization program with a sport setting. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH can be achieved in as little as 3.7 seconds, continuing to a top speed rated at 195 MPH. A total of 14 service history entries are shown on the CARFAX report.
