Aston Martin’s flagship model from 2008 until 2012, the DBS features lightweight aluminum and carbon fiber bodywork, carbon ceramic brakes, an Adaptive Damping System (ADS), and a naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V12 engine. This 2011 Aston Martin DBS Volante is believed to be one of only 87 Carbon Black Editions produced, featuring special AML Carbon Black paint, Obsidian Black leather upholstery, and a unique trim package. It comes equipped with an optional 6-speed Touchtronic 2 automatic transaxle, 20” forged alloy wheels, xenon headlights, parking sensors, automatic climate control, a navigation system, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system. Purchased by the current owner in 2021 with just under 8k miles on the odometer, this special edition DBS Volante is now being offered for auction out of New York with approximately 17,500 miles showing on the odometer.
Showcasing traditional Aston Martin styling with advanced lightweight materials, the DBS’s bodywork features an aluminum roof and doors along with carbon fiber for the bonnet, trunk, and front fenders. This example is finished in special AML Carbon Black paint with a matching convertible top. Equipment includes a carbon fiber front lip spoiler and rear diffuser, xenon headlights, a vented bonnet, straked fender vents, auto-dimming mirrors, front and rear parking sensors, a decklid spoiler, clear taillights, Aston Martin-branded brake calipers, and 20” forged alloy wheels in gloss black with machined faces. The seller indicates the car is in excellent overall condition, although the tires are recommended for replacement soon. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin features Obsidian Black leather upholstery contrasted by white stitching, aluminum accents, a piano black center console, and carbon fiber trim on the door panels. Accessories include heated and power-adjustable front seats with memory, a three-spoke multifunction leather steering wheel, column-mounted paddle shifters, an ignition button, automatic climate control, cruise control, a pop-up navigation system screen, and a Bang & Olufsen sound system.
The naturally aspirated 5.9-liter quad-cam V12 engine was rated at 510 HP and 420 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 6-speed Touchtronic II automatic transaxle. Performance features include an Adaptive Damping System (ADS) suspension and carbon ceramic disc brakes with 6-piston calipers in front and 4-piston calipers out back. The seller indicates the convertible top motor was recently replaced, and an annual service is due.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Owned the car for 4 years now, it was mainly driven on the weekends when it was nice out. When it was not driven, it was kept in our warehouse & maintained regularly. Great looking and sounding car, and a blast to drive. It is due for an annual service & could use new tires in the near future.”
