In celebration of Porsche’s victories at the Transsyberia Rallies, a special Cayenne S “Transsyberia” edition was created with only 285 examples built in total out of an originally planned production run of 600. These special editions come with factory-applied graphics, protective off-road skid plates, PASM (Porsche Active Stability Management) air suspension, and a 4.8-liter V8 engine borrowed from the Cayenne GTS. This 2010 example is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic with Crystal Silver Metallic Contrast over a black leather and Alcantara interior. It was originally optioned with Variable Power-Assist steering, bi-xenon headlights, heated front and rear seats, a trailer hitch, a panoramic roof system, quarter window sunshades, PCM with navigation, front and rear ParkAssist, and a BOSE premium surround sound system. This Cayenne was acquired by the seller in 2020 from a Porsche Club of America member and subsequently received a major 80k-mile service. Showing approximately 91k miles on the odometer, this rare Cayenne Transsyberia is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Kansas.
This Cayenne S is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic (M7W) with Crystal Silver Metallic Contrast accents, one of four color combinations offered for this special edition model. Accents include the mirror housings, an extended bi-plane roof spoiler, front grille inserts, model designation graphics, and painted 18” Cayenne S wheels. Exterior equipment includes bi-xenon cornering headlights, a panoramic roof, a trailer hitch, roof rails, and underbody skid plates. The seller reports some scratches, chips, and minor dents throughout, detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report. The factory wheels are mounted with Goodyear Duratrac all-terrain tires displaying date codes from 2019, and an additional full-size wheel and tire are said to accompany the sale.
The cabin features heated Sport Seats with black Alcantara inserts, a matching heated rear bench seat, and matching door panels and carpeting accented by silver trim. Amenities include PCM (Porsche Communication Management) with navigation, a BOSE surround sound system, front and rear ParkAssist sensors, roll-up sunscreens on the quarter windows, and a ski bag. The seller reports some wear to the driver’s side seat bolster, and the rear hatch does not open from the driver’s door switch.
The Cayenne S Transsyberia is powered by a naturally-aspirated 4.8-liter V8 engine derived from the GTS model, which offers an output of up to 405 HP and 369 lb.-ft of torque. All four wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission which can also be shifted manually using the gear selector or steering wheel buttons. This special edition comes standard with PASM air suspension as well as a lower 4.11:1 final drive ratio for improved off-road performance. The seller reports a full 80k-mile recommended service was completed including new ignition coils in February of 2022.
This sale will include two sets of keys, owner’s manuals, associated sales literature, an additional wheel/tire, some service documentation, and 000 Magazine - Issue 14, which includes an article about the Transsyberia.

@jeddaily These we’re the wheels that came with the vehicle when I purchased it.
@bluemonkey - good catch! I didn't notice the wheels until you mentioned it.
@Clubsport88 - any idea why the wheels were changed?
The model designation on the tail gate is definitely too small (from later gen of Cayenne). The 957 model designation is slightly woder than the license plate.
these wheels are not original for the transsyberia. The Cayenne S II wheel was the original. Rubber would be BFG KO2 255/55r18. Tho it is probably not too difficult switch back.

@GBX I miss filed the paperwork. The service invoice is posted showing the coil packs. If you are wondering about the secondary cats, the previous owner had removed the secondary cats for a more throaty sound. I had the secondary cats added back. I like to have my Porsche’s to be original.

@rrydberg I have not done it, but the Porsche tech said it was good and didn’t need it.
Hello again. And record of replacement of the driveshaft supports bearings? I do not see anything like that listed on the receipts.
@clubsport88 Thanks for posting paint meter reading. Do you have any paperwork showing the ignition coil replacement. Don’t see it on the 80k service invoice.
@GBX paint meter photos have been posted
@likemytoys the videos have been posted

@1991928gt It is a true Transsyberia. Look at the door sills and the instrument photos. The lights were and option, and if you have the pano roof, you couldn’t have the lights.
Is it a Transsyberia or a "transsyberia tribute" car? It seems to be missing a lot of the features of a true Transsyberia - where are the Hella lights for example?
Bid in the amount of $10,000
@likemytoys The rear logo looks correct to me when looking at Transsyberia photos. I am not aware of any accidents and I haven’t seen anything that looks like it has been in an accident. All the services are up to date. I do all services at the dealership and according to the recommendations. No services I would be doing until next service date. I don’t have the original floor mats or ski bag. There are weathertech floor mats that are included with the vehicle. I’m sure the decal has been replaced because it looks good and no peeling. I’ll get someone to help me get the videos
Hi Seller -
Sorry in advance for all of the questions, just want to get them out of the way.
Do you know if the rear Cayenne S logo was replaced? It looks to be from a newer model Cayenne.
I understand the carfax doesn't show any, but are you aware of any accidents?
Does it need any service at the moment? Any services coming up that you would have done if you kept it?
Do you have the original floor mattes? Does it come with the ski bag?
Are the Transsyberia decals original? Any pealing?
Can you post a cold start and driving video?
Thank you!

@GBX I don’t know why my response to your questions didn’t post? No paint work that I can tell and Carfax doesn’t show any accidents. I don’t have a paint meter, but, I’m trying to find one. I will post the 80k service

@rrydberg This generation didn’t have the plastic tubes and if it did, they are not there now. Air suspension does work properly. The local Porsche dealership inspected everything when I had the 80k mile service.
Any record of the coolant cross-over pipe having been replaced or upgraded? Does the air suspensions operate correctly?
@GBX sorry I missed the pano question. Yes the tool is there.
@Singer2020 No PDCC
does it have PDCC?
Any paint work? Can you send paint meter readings? Can you post pics of the 80k mi service invoice? Also, is the pano roof manual close tool still present in the center console under the rubber mat?
Welcome to the auction. I’ll be available to answer any questions you might have.
