The manual 997.2 is being called by many “the last true Porsche sports car”. The design, reliability, and driving characteristics are the reason they have become so in demand. This 2010 997.2 Carrera S up for auction represents a prime example of what is so special about this generation 911. The selling dealer acquired the 997 from the second owner and currently shows just 19k miles.
The seller states that the car has all original black paint and is in excellent condition other than a very small scratch on the sunroof. The second owner purchased the car as a CPO Porsche and has garaged it since his purchase. The photos in the gallery are a testimony to just how nice the paint is.
Nicely spec’d when ordered new, this Carrera S had an original MSRP of $99,665 and included: self-dimming mirrors, heated seats, 19” Turbo wheels, Bluetooth interface, Sport Chrono Pkg Plus, Navigation module, Bose High End Sound Pkg, XM Radio, power seats w/ driver memory. The build sheet is shown in the gallery photos. The original owner had the foresight to keep the original window sticker, which will be included in the sale
The black leather interior is stated to be in close to new condition. The leather and carpeting are crisp, reminiscent of a brand-new vehicle. Once again, the gallery photos show that the interior was extremely well cared-for.
The 3.8L flat six produces 385 horsepower and is connected to the desirable 6-speed manual transmission. The seller reports that this car is in top level condition with no mechanical flaws, issues or warning lights displayed on the dash.
In addition to service and repair records from Legend Porsche, the purchase will include a clean Carfax report, both keys, and original books.

Thank you all for the interest so far. I agree and would have to say the 997 is by far the best water cooled Porsche. The increase of prices for them over the past 18 months will certainly reflect this. And yes, pictures don't do this vehicle justice by any means. This car is super clean.
Thanks to the members for the compliments and happy bidding. We are not quite there but getting closer!
I bought a 2011 GTS 2 weeks ago. I had a 991 and enjoy the 997 platform much more. I daily the GTS and the experience is just spot on. At the current price, this is a very good deal for an awesome car. I paid a lot more for the GTS (same color, same miles)

I have to chime in here. This car looks great with Turbo wheels. But more importantly, it looks like it’s in incredible condition. Someone is going to be getting a really nice Porsche

im split on if this 997 or the 996 has the best view from the rear quarter angle ... this 997 def looks best from front though. feel like porsche nailed it with 997 and this size and design really will be appreciated more in time. def a model that's going nowhere but up in price. wish buyer luck and lots of fun.
