Equipped with a 6-speed manual transmission, this 2010 Porsche 987.2 Boxster S comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Black upholstery with leather Sport Seats and red deviating-colored carpets. It also features the Bose High-End Sound Package, bi-xenon headlights with Dynamic Cornering, heated front seats, automatic climate control, and more. Modified with TechArt wheels, a TPC Racing suspension, and a Cargraphic exhaust, this example is now being offered for auction by the seller out of Texas with just under 24k miles on the odometer.
This Boxster S is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a black convertible top. It features optional bi-xenon headlights with Dynamic Cornering and rides on aftermarket 19” TechArt Formula wheels with new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires from 2020. The stance has been lowered with Eibach springs, and XPEL paint protection film has been applied to the front bumper, hood, fenders, mirror covers, and door edges. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin was factory-optioned with black leather Sport Seats, Guards Red seatbelts, and deviating-colored carpets. Additional options include heated seats, a Porsche wind deflector, automatic climate control, the Bose High-End Sound Package, Bluetooth mobile phone interface, Universal Audio Interface, and self-dimming mirrors with an integrated rain sensor.
This 987.2 Boxster S is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.4-liter flat-six engine featuring direct fuel injection and an output of up to 310 HP and 265 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission, allowing the Boxster S to accelerate from 0-60 MPH in under 5 seconds, continuing to a top speed of approximately 170 MPH. Modifications include a TPC Racing Stage 2 suspension system and a Cargraphic cat-back exhaust system. Recent vehicle maintenance includes an oil and filter change at 23,233 miles on 4/4/23, followed by tire mounting and balancing on 3/16/23. A new battery was installed on 9/30/22. Additionally, on 2/15/21 at 19,610 miles, the oil and filters (air and cabin air) were replaced, along with the spark plugs. The seller adds that a 20k-mile service has also been performed.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Presenting my beautiful Arctic Silver Metallic 987.2 Boxster S with an extremely rare deviated red interior. I searched for over a year to find a spec like this with Porsche Exclusive touches, but with a 5yo daughter, I don't find that I'm getting the seat time I'd planned, so I recently purchased a 991.1 S with proper back seats.”

Added cold start and warm revs videos. I will be on an airplane at the time of the auction end. Will try to have internet and be available for any questions, but please understand if I’m not responsive!

Wow, thanks for all the previous owner representation here!
I am the original owner and did most of the mods, wheels, suspension, exhaust and partial front PPF (full PPF wasn’t a thing back then). It was sold to 2nd owner, shipped to HI and don’t know anything from there. Under my ownership, it was garage kept and very well maintained. Other than regular maintenance, the only thing I had to repair was a coolant hose. This car was very enjoyable to own, I only wish I drove it more. GLWS.

Happy to answer any questions about it as well under my ownership

Didn't get a chance to do the startup video - will tonight.
@Sylverlee wow, thanks for chiming in (and taking such nice care).
I was the CA owner. Mods were done by the Hawaii owner, we both took good care of the car
@Kevinmr Honestly I don’t know much about it before previous (Michigan) owner. All I can say is that it’s in pristine condition, drives beautifully, and has extensive service records. Has clearly been treated nicely by each owner.
Sort of an "active" Carfax history during the car's 24k miles, with it spending time in South Carolina, Hawaii, California, Hawaii, California (again), Michigan and now Texas. Any commentary on the history that would be helpful/comforting for us interested onlookers? Thanks.
@JSS5246 I can certainly try tonight. Probably won't be able to do it driving since I'm single parenting this week and won't be able to take her with me, but startup and static revs for sure.
Any chance you could post a start-up video and driving so we can hear the exhaust? TY.

@jyadams yes. It consists of Eibach Pro Kit springs and stiffer anti roll bars. Shocks remain OEM. The ride is still very refined. I don’t think I’d have known it was modified if not for the lower stance.
Can you provide details on the specific suspension kit installed and comment on the ride quality off-track (highway, back roads) compared to stock?
Thanks
Ahh…
I was wondering what that was!
Thanks,
Jason
@JasonJ I think so. I believe you can see it in image 64.
Good morning,
Does the car still have the wind deflector that goes between the seat headrests?
I didn't notice it in the photos.
Thanks much

@only1buck I uploaded some pictures of the wheels. The wheels are wrapped in plastic because I actually had them professionally refinished ($950) because they were poorly packaged and scratched on the faces in shipment when I bought them originally. I've never actually opened them since, but I've used this shop (Austin Auto Finishes) multiple times and their work is top notch.
@G964 yes, I have a large binder of receipts and documents dating back to new (not sure if it's comprehensive, but it certainly seems so). I've uploaded some of the key & recent items here for reference.

Any maintenance records/receipts?
@ihmcguinness thank you
I will be taking some more detail shots tomorrow and can include those.
@ihmcguinness I have an interest in the 19" 987 Boxster Spyder/Cayman R wheels that you referenced in the other post. Would you have pictures of those?

@Hotwheeljohn shamefully it looks like just over 600 miles. I do not have the original parts, but I do have a second set of 19” 987 Boxster Spyder/Cayman R wheels in silver that are available separately. All the modifications were done previously, with no issues. Car drives beautifully and is really nicely set up (very neutral).
Just curious, did you do the modifications, or did you purchase as is? Do you have the original parts to put back to stock (wheels, exhaust, suspension).
How many miles have you placed on the car, and any issues with any modification?

Hi all. Thanks for visiting my auction. I really do love this car. Honestly, I like driving it more than my 911, but it just isn’t the right fit for parenting life. Please ask any questions here. I’ll do my best to answer quickly and/or provide specific pictures.
Thanks
