Debuted at the 2008 Los Angeles International Auto Show, the updated 987.2 Boxster model featured a new flat-six engine with greater displacement along with refined styling and newer technologies. This 2010 example comes finished in Black over a matching interior and is optioned with a 6-speed manual transmission, Sound Package Plus, heated seats, bi-xenon headlights, and more. Showing under 39k miles on the odometer and cared for by three prior owners in the Midwest, this Boxster is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Florida.
The revised 987.2 model included larger front air intakes with integrated daytime running lights as well as new headlamps and taillight assemblies. This Boxster is finished in Black with a matching convertible top, optional dynamic cornering bi-xenon headlights, and 17” Boxster III wheels with new Michelin Pilot Sport tires. Additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The Black standard leather interior is appointed with heated seats, automatic climate control, a storage box, self-dimming mirrors & integrated rain sensor, and Sound Package Plus along with a Bluetooth and Universal Audio Interface.
A mid-mounted 2.9-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 255 HP and 214 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. The CARFAX report shows 14 maintenance history records including new ignition coils in 2019, an oil service in 2021, and a wheel alignment in 2022.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “This was a trade-in for a new 911 and was previously owned by a reverend in Cincinnati Ohio and was meticulously maintained for his 5 years of ownership.”

@mtvnorm there is no repair needed I could have closed it inappropriately but the top cycles perfectly and I’ve driven it in the rain there is no open leaks of any kind no tears in the top or anything however if there is something to do with the elastic that @larryjod mentioned I’m unaware of it. But as he also mentioned it can just be popped in with your hand I didn’t even notice in a couple hundred miles of driving
@keeks88 I put a couple hundred miles on the car both highway and backroads. The clutch engages easily and quickly. Smooth through all the gears
@mtvnorm this very common. The elastic bands that guide the top need to be replaced or just push the bead into the channel when the top is almost up. A pain but easy "fix".
Hello! Any insights on clutch health?
Bid in the amount of $16,664
@DRiV305 I notice that the convertible top doesn't seem to be seated properly in image #53. The edge bead of the top is overlapping the window frame. Any thoughts on how costly this is to repair?
@Gblom these are in fact the 18’s I spoke to the previous owner my client and he informed me he changed them in gist first tire change liked the look better so these are in fact 18” wrapped in Michelin pilot sports. Good eye!
Description states 17” Boxster III wheels, but photos look like 18” wheels…, which is correct?
@tstamm it appears to all be original there is no noteworthy damage to the paint no notable scratches dents chips or anything however it’s a 13 yr old car with nearly 40k on it so it’s seen use
All original paint?
Stone chips?
@Richard356 I have no wind deflector the tires are NOT original and replaced not that long ago when i'm in the shop in the morning I can tell you dates from tire. I will have to collect tax in florida if you're a florida residnet but out of state I can just ship you the car HOWEVER for your convenience if you'd prefer we can do the registration and taxes for you. For whatever the cost is for those things and no mark up.
Are the tires original, is the Wind Deflector included? and will you be collecting for the Tax and Tag. (No Fees)
@DMTMD i do not charge any additional fees and we are a full fledged dealership we can process your registration in any state or can simply send you the title for you to register whatever you prefer. Thanks for the kind words.
@DRiV305 Beautiful car. As you're a dealer, are there any extra fees potential buyers should be aware of? If not registering the car in Florida?
@tstamm yes.
Is the rear window glass?

@mtvnorm I actually have the replacement radio button. Just arrived and I will install and post a picture and there are NO sticky buttons or worn items in this interior it looks better than most 997 body 911 I get. Its an impeccable example and there are zero issues with the car.
@DRiV305 I notice that a radio button is missing and one of the volume knobs appears sticky and worn (image #77). Are there any other issues with the car?
@DRiV305 Thanks for posting the video I asked for.
@windyNM cold start and cycle of the top video just posted you should see it shortly. Thanks for the kind words on the car it really is a nice example.
@WindyNM 100% I'll be in the office within the hour and I'll post them for you! Let me know how else I can help. Thanks!
Good morning. That's a very pretty Boxster.
Do you have any videos of the car such as cold start and the operation of the top?
Hello, Pcarmarket! I'm anthony the owner of this awesome boxster. Please feel free to reach out with any questions or requests and I'll be happy to help! She was taken in on trade on a 1 owner 911 by a real Porsche enthusiast and the condition is indicative of this. I had the car paint corrected and she looks awesome. Thanks for your interest and let me know how I can help!
