For the 2010 model year, a new Porsche 911 Turbo (997.2) was introduced featuring a larger 3.8-liter engine with direct fuel injection along with the option of a new 7-speed PDK transmission. This 2010 Porsche 911 Turbo Cabriolet is designated as a 997.2 Launch Model and comes finished in Black over a matching full leather interior. The original window sticker totaled over $163k including optional Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), Sport Chrono Package Turbo, a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission, 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels, heated and ventilated Comfort Seats, Porsche crested headrests, a Sport steering wheel with shift paddles, and more. It was originally sold in California where it remained up until 2022. Showing approximately 35k miles on the odometer, this 997.2 Turbo is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Ohio.
The Turbo is distinguished from the rest of the 911 model range by its wider bodywork, integrated side air intakes, unique bumpers, and speed-activated rear spoiler. This 2010 example is finished in Black with a matching convertible top. It features optional Dynamic Cornering Lights, rear Park Assist System sensors, and 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels borrowed from the Turbo S model. The car rides on Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires and the seller notes clear paint protection film has been applied to the exterior. Some scrapes are present on the underside of the front bumper. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Black full leather upholstery including an optional Sport steering wheel with shift paddles and Comfort Seats with heating, ventilation, and Porsche-crest embossed headrests. Other options include PCM with a Bluetooth interface for mobile phones, a Universal Audio Interface, and an XM Radio receiver. A lap timer stopwatch is also included on the center of the dashboard as part of the optional Sport Chrono Package.
The twin-turbocharged 3.8-liter flat-six engine sends up to 500 HP and 480 lb.-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 7-speed PDK transmission. Equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Turbo which provides a temporary period of overboost, the 997.2 Turbo Coupe was quoted with an original 0-60 time of 3.2 seconds. This example also features optional Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV) as well as an upgraded IPD intake plenum which claims to increase both horsepower and torque. The CARFAX report shows a 10k-mile interval service completed at Porsche Monterey in August 2022 at 33,922 miles.
This sale will include owner’s manuals and a clean title.
