This 2010 Porsche 997.2 Turbo Coupe is presented in Dark Blue Metallic over Brown Natural Leather upholstery. It was sold new in North Carolina at an original sticker price of over $157k, featuring an optional 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission, Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), Sport Chrono Package Turbo, 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels, heated Adaptive Sport Seats with painted backrests, a painted center console, Carrara White instrument dials, and a leather Sport steering wheel with paddle shifters. The car was purchased by the seller in June 2023, refinished in its original color, and modified with a TechArt Type 1 rear spoiler, a BMC air filter, a Sharkwerks muffler, TechArt exhaust tips, and Satin Aurum powder-coated wheels. Benefitting from a previous engine replacement, this 997.2 Turbo is now being offered for auction out of Massachusetts with less than 113k miles showing on the odometer.
Featuring wide Turbo-specific bodywork with integrated side air intakes, the exterior was refinished in its original Dark Blue Metallic color under current ownership. The window seals and headlight lenses were replaced, and the rear end was modified with a TechArt Type 1 spoiler. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, LED taillights and daytime running lights, an electric sunroof, an optional rear window wiper, TechArt quad exhaust tips, red Porsche-branded brake calipers, and optional 19” RS Spyder center-lock wheels that have been custom powder-coated in Satin Aurum. The seller indicates the tires were replaced in 2023, approximately 3k miles ago, and clear paint protection film was applied to the full exterior after the car was refinished. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a recent CARFAX report showing minor-to-moderate damage to the rear and right rear sides in 2013. An additional accident-free CARFAX report from 2023 is located in the attachment section of the listing.
The cabin showcases premium Brown Natural Leather upholstery complemented by optional Carrara White instrument dials, a painted center console, and heated Adaptive Sport Seats with painted backrests. Accessories include a three-spoke leather Sport steering wheel with paddle shifters, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, automatic climate control, cruise control, Porsche Communication Management (PCM), a Bose sound system, and a Bluetooth audio adapter. Some signs of wear are noted on the seats and door panels.
Equipped with twin Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG) turbochargers, VarioCam Plus variable valve timing, direct fuel injection, and integrated dry sump lubrication, the 3.8-liter flat-six engine was factory-rated at 500 HP and 480 lb-ft of torque. The seller indicates the original engine was replaced at 90k miles with an engine from a 10k-mile donor car, and the engine currently has about 32k miles. All four wheels are driven through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission and an electronically controlled center differential. The car is equipped with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), 6-piston front and 4-piston rear brake calipers, 13.8” cross-drilled rotors, the optional Sport Chrono Package Turbo, and Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV). An aftermarket BMC air filter was installed by the current owner along with a Sharkwerks muffler. The seller adds that all maintenance has been kept up to date with work under their ownership, including a PDK transmission service, new ignition coils, spark plugs, and filters.

@Ksdaoski time will tell. Th pictures speak for themselves. The paint is flawless and it’s fully PPF (easier washes, stays clean longer, adds depth to the clear coat) engine has been installed for about 20k miles so you know the install went well. It’s a perfect drivers car you don’t have to feel bad about putting mileage on.
Hard one to gauge here. High miles. Replacement engine. Respray. Not too many comps.

@steelerchamps the car had a full windows out respray in May of 2024 and was cured then had full Paint Protection Film installed before driving. With that being said you can not get an accurate measurement due to film. In this case the only reason to meter the paint while having PPF would be to check consistency to see if one panel has been sprayed to indicate an accident and single panel respray which would not be the case since the whole car has been resprayed professionally.

@edgy4sure no they are not concidered “the mezger” because they are direct injected. Less maintenance and no need to pin cams.
IIRC 2010 997 turbo were not Mezger engines, correct?

Seller do you have more info regarding the old engine and the reason it was replaced
Update: I was able to get a hold of the previous owner through the invoices that came with the vehicle. The car was driving in a parking lot and someone backed out of a parking space into the passenger door. Low speed minor damage.

@whatupgus the wheel on the car are the original spyder wheels refinished. I do also have the original wing that was resprayed with the car as well as the silver anodized centerlock wheels nuts.
@whatupgus the damage reported in 2013 was news to us when we reviewed the listing on pcar market. I have provided an autocheck that shows no damage history as well as the car fax report from 2023 when I purchased the car. Both show no damages. I contacted carfax and they didn’t have much to say. I can tell you that when we had resprayed the car we did not find any previous damage anywhere on the vehicle.
