We are pleased to offer this 2010 Porsche 997.2 Turbo Coupe finished in Basalt Black Metallic over a Carrera Red Natural Leather interior.  Originally sold at the legendary Brumos Porsche dealership, this Turbo remained in Florida its entire life where it was purchased by the current owner as a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle from Champion Motorsport in 2014 at 20k miles.  In addition to its premium factory options amounting to an original sticker price of over $154k, this example has been modified with a Tubi exhaust, carbon fiber doorsills, Champion upgraded intercoolers, and more.  Now with approximately 39k miles showing on the odometer, this Turbo is being offered for auction by its owner out of Florida.

The Basalt Black Metallic finish is said to be in excellent condition with only very minor signs of road-going wear.  A ceramic coating has been applied within the last year and the rear bumper is reported to have been refinished for cosmetic purposes.  Detailed images are provided in the photo gallery along with a clean CARFAX.  From the factory, this Turbo comes equipped with painted side skirts and 19” RS Spyder center lock wheels that have been custom refinished in black with red stripes.  These wheels come dressed in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires that are said to have been mounted within the last 5k miles.

Inside, you will find a stunning Carrera Red Natural Leather interior complemented by upgraded carbon fiber doorsills installed by the current owner.  A hardwired connection for a radar detector has been fitted and the following items are listed on the factory specification sheet:

  • 07        Carrera Red Natural Leather
  • 220      Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV)
  • 250      7-Speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK)
  • 342      Heated Seats
  • 422      19 Inch RS Spyder Wheel with Center Lock
  • 437      Comfort Seat
  • 509      Fire Extinguisher
  • 541      Seat Ventilation
  • 603      Dynamic Cornering Lights
  • 635      Park Assist System
  • 640      Sport Chrono Package Turbo Including Dynamic Engine Mounting
  • 686      XM Radio
  • 810      Floor Mats in Interior Color
  • 998      Leather Interior Natural Leather
  • XAJ      Side Skirts in Painted in Exterior Color
  • Z4        Basalt Black Metallic

This second-generation 997 Turbo features a 3.8 L twin-turbocharged flat-six engine that is capable of producing 500 HP and 480 lb.-ft of torque in its stock configuration.  With the optional 7-speed PDK transmission and Sport Chrono Package Turbo including Dynamic Engine Mounting, this coupe is capable of accelerating from 0-60 MPH in as little as 3 seconds.  This example has also been modified with a Tubi exhaust, carbon fiber air intake, and Champion upgraded intercoolers for increased power and sound as well as a lowered suspension setup for a more aggressive stance.  All routine maintenance is said to be up to date with service carried out exclusively by Champion Motorsport under the current ownership.

This sale will include the original owners books, window sticker, service records, and a clean title.  The 997 generation has become more desirable than ever, do not miss your chance to get behind the wheel of this nicely equipped second-generation Turbo.

@knarf very cool turbo and great mods. The DME with a over rev or ignition report is less useful in the PDK. Though not impossible to have an ignition in higher ranges with the automatic it usually does not suffer from this problem.

This 997 turbo IMO is the King of all Porsche turbos past and present.

A dealer or Certified P-Car mechanic needs to hook their computer and extract the data.

  • knarf (seller) 3 years, 8 monthsago

@Petercarlander Good to know but I believe I you need to connect to the computer to read it. Can you read it with a code reader?

  • Petercarlander (registered bidder) 3 years, 8 monthsago

The engine computer will show how often ( if any) the motor was in the red line area. To many “ red lines” and the engine life can be in question.

  • knarf (seller) 3 years, 8 monthsago

    @Petercarlander Sorry I don’t understand your question.

    Are there any over rev’s?

It is painted on. It was coated by Champion Motor Sport. I left the center locking hub original silver.

  • Fishingaprilfool (registered bidder) 3 years, 9 monthsago

I am curious to know about the red accents on the wheels. Is that how they were produced or was that added? Is it a paint or a powder coated onto the finish or I’ve also seen where an accent like this was a snap on piece, thanks!!
