Finished in Black over a Sand Beige interior, this 2010 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S Coupe features a 7-speed PDK transmission paired with its 3.8-liter flat-six engine. It was purchased by the current owner in 2018 at 55k miles and later modified for PCA Driver Experience track events, including the installation of an FVD Brombacher cat-less exhaust system, Rennline motor mounts, a third radiator, Tarett suspension components, GT3 coilovers, a DSC controller, a Titan roll bar, Recaro bucket seats, Schroth safety harnesses, and two sets of 18” OZ Racing wheels. Showing approximately 92k miles on the odometer, this track-ready Carrera S is now being offered for auction out of Florida.

The exterior is finished in Black and features bi-xenon headlights, LED taillights and daytime running lights, an electric sunroof, a 991 front splitter, a speed-activated rear spoiler, red brake calipers, and quad exhaust outlets. The factory 19” Carrera S II wheels are dressed in tires from 2018, and the car is accompanied by two additional sets of 18” OZ Racing wheels. The seller indicates the front bumper was refinished to address track rash, clear protective film is applied to the headlights, and the full exterior has been ceramic-coated. Some rock chipping is noted on the front bumper, along with a small chip on the windshield. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report

The Sand Beige interior has been modified with Recaro SPG XL racing bucket seats, Schroth safety harnesses (exp. 2024), and a Titan roll bar in place of the rear seats. Accessories include a three-spoke leather steering wheel, an Alcantara headliner, a Sport Chrono dashboard stopwatch, automatic climate control, cruise control, Bose High-End Sound Package, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM). The seller notes the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) has been disabled for the use of aftermarket rims, and a “raised taillight fault” is present, although a replacement taillight is included in the sale to correct this issue.

Equipped with direct fuel injection, dry sump lubrication, and VarioCam Plus variable valve timing, the 3.8-liter flat-six engine was factory-rated at 385 HP and 310 lb-ft of torque. It has been modified with a cat-less FVD Brombacher race exhaust system, Rennline engine mounts, and a third front-mounted radiator for improved cooling. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. The car’s suspension has been modified with GT3 coilovers, Swift springs, a programmable DSC controller, and Tarett Engineering lower control arms, sway bars, and drop links. The seller indicates that the car was routinely serviced by Driver’s Choice Motors throughout their ownership, as reflected on the CARFAX report.

This sale will include two sets of 18” OZ Racing wheels, owner’s manuals, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Up for sale is our beloved track event car. My wife and I built a home on the West Coast of Florida, and we do not have the ability to attend events any longer. If you win this car, you will have an amazing street-legal car that will hold its own against GT-class cars on the racetrack.”

@Calluty7 The PDK? It functions 100% normal. If a new owner would like to perform service they absolutely can.
Mmmm that’s concerning.
@Saltybrad thanks

@ottawadesi The PDK has never been serviced. It shifts as new with no issues. I've read stories online of PDK failure after they have been serviced so I have opted to not open that possibility.
Bid in the amount of $21,600
Hi great example of a street legal race car. Has the PDK been serviced at all and any issues given the years/mileage and track history. Thanks for your response
@marcromano I never actually dyno'd the car before or after. I feel the car had a much better pull out of corners and quite a long over rev.
To what degree has the torqe and HP changed as a result of the upgrades?
@saltydog - nice example of a dual-purpose 997.2. I tracked mine for a couple of seasons without a single mechanical issue. These cars are super-robust and very streetable. Surely you considered an IPD plenum and/or a tune - why did you choose not to? GLWTA.

@bavarian3 I performed yearly SRF brake flushes and semi flushes periodically with a motive flush tool. I also used 300 v oil for track duty. I did the plugs and coils in 2022 after the FVD pipe install. The car has been on a trickle charger for the past couple years. I do not recall if Drivers Choice performed a belt replacement.
-Has the car been sitting given the miles on the last service date and the current mileage? -DME report?-Brake fluid flush only in 2019? Anything recent? Last oil change?-When was coils/plugs (only at 62k miles?)/serpentine belt done?
Bid in the amount of $10,500
@classic-michael All guages and ac works. I replaced the foam on the ac baffles with neoprene and the ac functions as normal. No internal work on engine. It also functions completely normal.
Has anything been done to engine internally, do all gauges and AC work?
@02silverbullet I do have the original seats, back seats, and exhaust. There are more parts in storage I would have to inventory.
Hello, thank you for looking at this 997.2 S. I'm looking forward to answering any questions you may have.
Bid in the amount of $10,000
Still have any of the take off parts like the cats, etc?
