This 2010 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S is showcased in GT Silver Metallic over a black leather interior and pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its direct fuel-injected 3.8L engine. Featuring optional heated and ventilated seats and the Bose High-End Sounds Package from the factory, this example has also been modified with Tarrett Engineering wheel studs, 19” HRE wheels, an Ohlins coilover suspension, a Numeric Racing short shifter and cables, FVD Sport Exhaust, Fabspeed carbon fiber intake, and more. This 997.2 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Alabama showing just under 49k miles on the odometer.
This Coupe is finished in GT Silver Metallic and includes an aftermarket GT3Tek front splitter, Rennline radiator grilles, a monochrome Porsche badge, Magnagrafix magnetic stone guards, ceramic window tint, Tarret Engineering wheel studs, and 19” #540 two-piece HRE wheels fitted with new Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The seller notes signs of road wear along the front end, a slight ding near the gas filler, and that the wheels have been professionally refinished within the last 3 years. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with Black leather and features optional power-adjustable Comfort Seats with heating and ventilation, the Bose High-End Sound Package, and metal door sills with model insignias. Modifications include a 917-style shift knob, Rennline phone mount, upgraded PCM communication module, and Numeric Racing pedals. The seller notes minor signs of wear, a dimple in the driver's seat near the seat belt receiver, and the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) light is present due to the aftermarket wheels.
This 997.2 is equipped with a naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine rated at 385 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven via a 6-speed manual transmission. Performance upgrades include an FVD Sport Exhaust, Fabspeed carbon fiber intake, a Numeric Racing short shifter and cables, and an Ohlins coilover suspension. All original items are said to accompany the sale and all maintenance items are reportedly up to date, including a recent 50k-mile service. The seller states recent service items include new spark plugs, air filter cleaning, oil and brake fluid flushes, and rear brake pads replaced within the last 4 months.
This sale will include a clean title (lien), a window sticker, original 19" Turbo wheels, and some removed factory parts.
The seller wants you to know: "Thanks for your interest in this is a fabulously well cared for example of the 997.2 Carrera S, the last analog 911. It has been tastefully upgraded to have the sound and feel of an old school 911- tight, crisp, and a little raw, with the power delivery from the .2 3.8L engine. Exhaust and intake alone removed almost 35 pounds and moved the hp up to around 400. Sounds and drives terrifically. It sits covered in our garage too much without really getting driven except to dinner 3-4 miles away, so we are selling to make room and focus on our 997.1 S race car. Love the 997!"

@Tractionless The stone guards are magnetic, from Magnagrafix.
Picture with turbo wheels sent to PCAR for you
Is it currently with or without the black rear fender film?
Have any current pictures of the included turbo wheels?
Bid in the amount of $20,000
I will get the car up in the air in a couple of hours for pictures of the suspension and undercarriage
@flipwils11 I appreciate y’all’s private conversation, but if you want to do a PPI or discuss this car on the phone I am glad to answer your call. Anyone is welcome to come to Fairhope, Alabama to see and drive it. Glad to take it for a PPI.
Palafox Imports in Pensacola did the spark plugs and inspection in March. Oil and brakes I do myself, and they were done in December, 386 miles ago. You are welcome to call Palafox as they know the car. Thomas answers the phone and Guy is the owner and chief mechanic.
@brax2u Actually I didn't have a good experience with 911r. He doesn't feel inclined to return emails or voice-mail when you want to have his car listings inspected for a PPI.
The description mentions that a 50k service was recently done including spark plugs, oil and brake fluid, ect. Do you have the receipt for this? Thanks
Bid in the amount of $15,997
After a few trips to the market, maybe it’s time to take a hard look at the postings of a successful seller. Not every seller is, or wants to be 911r, but I see a serial lack of confidence in the bidding community. The car looks like it could make many a buyer very happy. GLWTA
@List-Renn If you don’t like the studs, it comes with the original bolts that could be swapped back.
@List-Renn That length is longer than needed with the bullet nose, but is is MUCH easier to put a tire on with them. The next size down seemed a little tight when I did the measurements.
Are the Tarrett wheel studs the wrong size, or is that ugly extra length for future spacers/wider wheels?
@DOGGERJK - just seeing the 3 listings. BAT, Rennlist and Pcar market. It is interesting to read the comments and gauge the sellers expectations . Nothing bad - just the interwebz.
@Wogboy ????
@luis.seneriz No ECU tune. Fabspeed claims 24hp/20 tq for theirs.

@Cozad1955 The spot at the fuel filler is almost impossible to notice and you may not see it if I didn’t point it out. It is pretty much dead center of picture 36. I sent PCAR a picture with the location circled from when I purchased the car.
Additionally, I imagine you could add TPMS to the HRE 540’s. I don’t recall why Josh told me he didn’t/couldn’t except something about the valve stem sizing. It was never an issue for me on those wheels. TPMS is on the turbo wheels and works properly.
Does the car has an ecu tune?
I'm not sure if I'm seeing the imperfection around the gas filler door or reflection; is it just in front of and at 12:00 o'clock over the wheel arch? Also, do you know if the HRE wheels can be fitted with tire pressure monitoring? Thanks.
The Rennlist ad Josh listed and I bought the car shows up, and you can see the condition is the same. I did have it on Bat last year without the HRE’s and needing a couple of things. The car sat covered for a few months in the garage. For this auction, we have completed the 50k service items, put new skins on the HRE’s, new rear pads, and brake fluid bleed. This car is completely and exactly ready to go with zero issues.
interesting history on the web if you google the vin...
All original parts!
Bid in the amount of $9,972
Love the car. Do you still the original shift knob?? Thanks
Thanks for the compliments. This is an outstanding 997. Turbo wheels are included. I usually take the script off the back of my Porsches. I have the Carrera S script, and it comes with all original parts, although the adhesive is not on it. Pictures of suspension and under carriage on the way in the next 24.
This is the ONE to get - a 6 speed coupe w the 9A1 engine, in these colors ---and as the saying goes - the best bang for the buck is to buy a Porsche that someone else has already modified....likes this one. Good Luck ~ !
Nice set up! Are Turbo wheels included ? CS2 engine lid script? Would be interested in seeing pics of undercarriage and suspension mods.
Thanks
