This 2010 Porsche 911 Carrera Coupe is a 997.2 model featuring a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its naturally aspirated flat-six engine. The car was ordered in Meteor Grey Metallic over a black interior featuring optional aluminum-look trim, leather sun visors, and the Bose High-End Sound Package. It was acquired by the seller after its original owner at 12k miles and is now being offered for auction out of Texas showing just under 71k miles on the odometer.
The 997.2 generation was launched for the 2009 model year featuring a revised front bumper with larger air inlets as well as larger exterior mirrors, new LED taillights, and headlamps with LED daytime running lights. This Carrera is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic and rides on factory 19” Carrera S II wheels with Hankook tires dated from 2021. A few minor scratches are noted throughout the exterior as well as curb rash on some of the wheels. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The black standard leather interior includes heated Power Comfort Seats with driver memory as well as aluminum-look trim for the instrument surround, gear lever, and brake handle. Other options include an aluminum footrest, leather sun visors, rear window wiper, self-dimming mirrors, Bose High-End Sound Package, universal audio interface, a Bluetooth phone interface, and a navigation module for PCM.
Updated with direct fuel injection for the 997.2 generation, the Carrera’s 3.6-liter flat-six engine produces up to 345 HP and 287 lb.-ft of torque. The rear wheels are driven by way of a 6-speed manual transmission and stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes paired with ventilated cross-drilled rotors. The seller states all routine service has been carried out by the specialists at Werks 11 of Temple, Texas, during their ownership.
This sale will include the original window sticker, owner’s manuals, and a clean title.

Fair price. I suspect if we had seen an over-rev report and paint gauge readings it would have brought more.
congrats gshiba

@Vroom forgot about that, I dinged the bumper, and was not smart enough to not turn it in to my insurance. very minor Werks 11 took it off and had it painted.
thx
Your Aug 1, 2019 repair invoice from Werks 11 says $1,400 insurance claim with no details. Can you provide some detail? I am assuming there was some accident?
@somefungi @somefungi, Labor will be more expensive than the parts needed. Via an independent shop I would guesstimate $2500 +\- . YMMV given your location as well.
@TUD17 Thanks for sharing your thoughts. Can you estimate roughly how much the maintenance services you mention would cost? I don’t have much experience, but would like to factor this into my bid. Thanks!

One must appreciate that this .2 has seen some use the past three plus years based upon the mileage readings from the service R.O.s. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that! Far better than sitting around being unused. I would hit the reset button and flush all the fluids, change the spark plugs along with the serpentine belt, t.stat and water pump. Then enjoy the hell out of it! @owner GLWTA!

Any updates on posting records yet? Very interested. Any chance you could get them to scan you copies of the services they performed for you over the years. Hard to bid where I think you'd like to be w/o ANY records. Thanks

Hello - is there an over-rev report? If not, can it be obtained?
