The 997.2 generation debuted in 2009 with an advanced dual-clutch PDK transmission and a more reliable direct fuel-injected flat-six engine. This 2010 Porsche 997.2 Carrera 4S Cabriolet is finished in Dark Blue Metallic over a Brown Natural Leather interior and features a Metropol Blue soft top, Dynamic Cornering Lights, the Sport Chrono Package Plus, the Bose High-End Sound Package, climatized Power Comfort Seats, and more. Acquired by the seller in July 2012 as a Porsche Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, this meticulously maintained C4S is now being offered for auction out of New York with less than 63k miles showing on the odometer.
The Carrera 4S features wider bodywork than the standard Carrera along with red-painted brake calipers and a distinctive full-width taillight reflector. This example is finished in Dark Blue Metallic with a Metropol Blue convertible soft top and optional Dynamic Cornering Lights and colored Porsche-crested center caps. A set of 20” 991 Carrera Sport Design wheels have been mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The seller notes the rear bumper was professionally removed and refinished, a body shop repaired a small scratch on the left fender, and minor imperfections are present on the hood. New OEM stone guards were applied approximately three months ago, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
Inside, the driver is greeted with Brown Natural Leather upholstery and color-coordinated floor mats. Options include heated and ventilated Power Comfort Seats with Driver Memory, a heated steering wheel, the Bose High-End Sound Package, XM Radio, a Universal Audio Interface, a Bluetooth Phone Interface, and a Navigation Module for the Porsche Communication Management (PCM) system. Additionally, the Sport Chrono Package Plus adds a stopwatch dial atop the dashboard.
This second-generation 997 is equipped with a direct fuel-injected 3.8L flat-six engine sending up to 385 HP to all four wheels through a 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. With the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, the car gains enhanced performance features including launch control, higher RPM shift points, quicker downshifts, and the deactivation of coasting mode and the auto start/stop function for a more engaging driving experience. A collection of service records are provided in the gallery, and the seller highlights the following maintenance items:
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “Thanks for checking my car out! I am meticulous about keeping the car properly maintained, clean, hand-washed (except when the temperature is under 40 degrees or it’s raining), and always waxed and paint-sealed. Always in my garage when not in use."

Hi,
I agree on the color combo and car has great paint! As you can see the 2010 for sale has the OEM blue top. This is a great car. I will miss the analog gauges and switches and the steering and sound.. The 2020 is night blue with slate grey/chalk interior with a black top. Enjoy the sibling!
Beautiful car, I have its younger brother, (or sister) a 2007 911 4S Cab Midnight Blue with Natural Brown interior.
Absolutely the best color combo out there, IMHO. I have a 6 speed with black top and black Lobster claw wheels.
I would love to see a picture of your new (to you) 2020. GLWA

@jhuntc13 Hi Jeff,
Two keys, absolutely new rotors with brake job. The original factory Porsche Communication Management (PCM 3.0) unit . Happy to answer any other questions.
Ron
Very nice! Might have missed it…2 keys? New rotors with brake job? Stock? Original head unit I assume so no Bluetooth music? Thanks Jeff
I am told the tire images were uploaded a while ago. Any other question about this terrific car, just let me know
@Jessannjoh good morning,
I had trouble reading in the sun, so I took a photo of each tire and just sent to pcarmarket, Dylan, to upload.
Bid in the amount of $38,500
Thank you for the quick response. I could zoom in enough to read the date codes on the tires but when I did it distorted the tire tread.
@Jessannjoh Hi,
The car absolutely does not need new tires.. If you like, I can take pictures of the tread. Please let me know. The front license plate is attached to the car through the tow hook. The body color cover is in perfect condition and is in the boot
Ron
Does the car need new tires?
It looks as if the front tag bracket is mounted to a screw in mount in the tow hook receptacle. If so do you have the body color cover that goes there? I am in Georgia so we don’t require front tags
Bid in the amount of $34,500
The only repaint was the rear bumper. Do't know much about paint readings. I will ask the auction company
@bayside31 -
Pic 116 - paint reading is 6...all others are 3. Can you explain?

I bought the same model in a 2020 that is arriving in a few days. Have to admit I will miss the analog gauges and switches.
Ron
@TomSesto Tom,
Greetings from Great Neck, NY 11024. Private party. Registered, licensed and insured.No problem giving possession to your carrier with the details addressed. I would strongly recommend a white glove interior transport. No issues, or smog or exhaust issues but don't know anything about any California specifics. No convertible top issues. On 4/18/2017 the top was replaced with OEM material same as from factory. The window sticker says "Natural brown leather" which was a $5195 option. Happy to answer any additional question you may have. Ron
Hi. Greetings from L.A. Beautiful car. Assume private party. Car is currently registered and licensed where? NY?Assume you have no problem shipping from NY to LA if I arrange it? Any smog or exhaust issues? Any convertible top issues? Why selling? Did you do the 50k or 60k service in 2024? Thanks. Interior is the cocoa or baseball glove brown and not the luxe tan, which I do not like?
Thank you for the quick response
@Jessannjoh PCAR promised o put the video up today
Best,

@Jessannjoh Thank you for your interest. I'll be very happy to create a video showing the top going up and down and in the same or in a second video, a cold start showing the tailpipes. This will need to be done tomorrow when I have someone who can either be in the car or taking the video. Also, I will need to figure out how to upload the video
Gorgeous car! Could you please post a video of the top functioning? Also a cold start video focused on the rear exhaust. Thank you
