Featuring a 6-speed manual transmission paired with a 3.8-liter flat-six engine, this 2010 Porsche 997.2 Carrera 4S Coupe is finished in a Paint to Sample Iris Blue Metallic color over a Black full leather interior with deviated white stitching. At an original sticker price of over $130k, it was also optioned with the Sport Exhaust System, Sport Chrono Package Plus, Bose High-End Sound Package, heated supple leather seats, Carrara White instrument dials, a carbon fiber trimmed steering wheel and center console, air vent slates in aluminum-look, a Porsche-crested storage bin lid, an aluminum footrest, painted side skirts, and more. Showing approximately 29k miles on the odometer, this unique and highly optioned Carrera 4S is now being offered for auction out of California.
As a 4S model, this 997.2 features wider fenders than a standard Carrera, along with a unique full-width taillight bar. It was factory-finished in an exclusive Iris Blue Metallic color from Porsche’s Paint to Sample catalog, and features an optional painted lower rear panel and side skirts. Other equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, LED taillights and daytime running lights, optional self-dimming mirrors, an electric sunroof, quad Sport Exhaust System tailpipes, red Porsche-branded brake calipers, and 19” Fuchs-style wheels.
Inside, this C4S showcases a Black full leather interior complemented by optional white deviated stitching, Carrara White instrument dials, aluminum-look air vent slats, and carbon fiber trim for the center console and heated multifunction leather steering wheel. Other options include heated power comfort seats in supple leather, a steering column casing in leather, a Porsche-crested storage bin lid, aluminum inlays for the shifter and brake handle, an aluminum footrest, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation and voice control, and the Bose High-End Sound Package.
Rated at 385 HP and 310 lb-ft of torque, the naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine is equipped with direct fuel injection and VarioCam Plus variable valve timing. Power is sent to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transaxle. Performance features include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), fixed 4-piston brakes with 13” cross-drilled discs, the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, and Sport Exhaust System. @G-Dub Agreed! Scarcity mixed with an analog platform drive values. We are seeing it with all PTS 997’s; with 3.8L 997.2 3RS’s selling in the 7-800K range, there is seemingly no ceiling when it comes to rarity and a coveted platform!
We do pay up to get special cars, that is how we have built our reputation and continue to bring these gems to market.

Peak 997 in the earlier (better), version of Iris Blue. All the deviated stitched leather is a crazy bonus. Would love to have this unicorn if I hadn’t already found mine.

While i love porsche, it irritates me that they reuse color names for varying shades. That said, this version of iris blue is absolutely gorgeous.
@StuttgartAZ listen to me sir, I love both blue metallic PTS and QR code videos so that would be great. I love the color. The reason I am on the path of axxin 'bout it is because I have owned cars in both Horizon and Gemini as well as Estoril and had them on my showroom. If this is a V2 of Iris (a 993 pts color) then I have never seen that shade. I have in my blue PTS car addiction never seen this Iris 2.0 so it's great to know that it exists.
The color is 100% Iris Blue Metallic. The official Porsche Build sheet lists PTS Iris Blue Metallic. The gas cap wears the 33P color code.
Any curious parties should hop over to Rennbow and look at their cataloging of the color Iris blue metallic. This is what makes this PTS color even rarer, as it’s a historic color that only older Porsches wore. I have linked it below.

@CJWRacing33 Hi CJ. This is 100% Iris Blue Metallic.
There are two versions of Iris Blue Metallic. This is the former, which is color code 33P.
The newer Iris Blue Metallic you are thinking of and see more commonly is an entirely different, and yes, darker color.
not to nit pick but isn't this either Horizon Blue Metallic or Estoril Blue metallic? Iris is way darker, like night blue
@Davidmcd2018 Build sheet is third in the listing body, after the carfax and DME report. Something tells me the owner wasn’t planning on driving this car in inclement weather. That being said, if you register to bid and win, we will include a half years worth of rear window cleanings for you :)
I dont see here if the car has a limited slip differential? Also for the money I would have expected the sport hard back seats and a rear wiper. Pretty car but some options left off the list it appears

@TrofeoCollection Yes, that is a huge build for a C4S. I have a PTS 997 GTS with full leather, carbon and deviated stitching. It was a $129k MSRP build when new. GLWA - it looks like a fantastic car. If you start to sort 997s by PTS, full leather, manual, you get down to very low production numbers extremely quickly, so this is as rare as it gets for a 997.
What a great car and great color, From these pics it looks so close to my 2006 Club Coupe in Azurro California.
@TubeGuy Regarding the carbon console; you’re absolutely spot on. As Porsche used single layer carbon, it ends up de-laminating and lifting, which causes cracking.
During the intake process, we observed the console had a thin crack on the side so we removed it and took it to a carbon repair specialist and had it repaired (at significant expense). We will post close up photos to show where the crack was and how it appears now.
@TubeGuy Nice eye! A friend of mine owns a Porsche dealership and through conversation, we learned this is a common occurrence.
It is the option code for deviated stitching, but the arena red is incorrect. He has seen this several times
This car is a big wow. What's the condition of the carbon fiber console? They are very fragile, especially the ash tray lid which can warp if it gets crazy hot repeatedly.
I noticed the build sheet ordered Arena Red stitching but the car has white. The white looks really nice. Just a beautiful, unique 997.2.

@dukeyr Great question — The car was originally optioned with Porsche Sport Design wheels, and the factory set is included in the sale. The wheels currently on the car are Hartmann HPO-310-SS:ML Fuchs-style wheels. Hartmann has been making high-quality wheels in Germany since the late ’70s and is very well respected. They use the same low-pressure casting process as Porsche, the wheels are heat-treated for strength, and they’re tested to JWL, VIA, and TUV standards, so quality is on par with OEM. These also are using OEM Porsche lug bolts, center caps.

This 2010 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S in Paint-to-Sample Iris Blue Metallic is proudly offered by Trofeo Collection. We specialize in unique Porsche's and Ferrari's and couldn't be more excited to bring this car to market.
It goes without saying, PTS Carreras of the 997 generation are extremely limited, and this example is believed to be one of one finished in Iris Blue Metallic—making it an exceptionally rare spec.
With an absurd window sticker, this car was ordered with an incredible list of rare and desirable options, including Paint To Sample exterior Iris Blue Metallic (33P), Custom Tailoring interior, carbon fiber console, carbon fiber steering wheel, Supple leather, and more. The result is one of the most unique and well-appointed Carrera 4S builds we’ve seen.
Showing just 29k miles, it has been carefully preserved while still enjoyed. The car meters as having all original paint. We have included paint meter readings as well as undercarriage photos in the gallery.
