The second phase of the 997 Carrera began in 2009, featuring a new direct fuel-injected engine, a revised suspension system, and updated front and rear fascias. This 2010 Porsche 997.2 Carrera Cabriolet comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a black standard leather interior and features a 6-speed manual transmission paired with its flat-six engine. At an original sticker price of just under $100k, this Carrera was ordered with a heated steering wheel, heated Power Comfort Seats, Bose High-End Sound Package, and several other premium features. Currently under the care of its third owner, this Cabriolet has been treated to routine maintenance as well as an upgraded Fabspeed air intake and engine performance tune. A lifelong California car, this 997.2 is now being offered for auction showing approximately 44k miles on the odometer.
The exterior is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a black cabriolet roof and optional Dynamic Cornering Lights. The 997.2 was updated with revised bumpers as well as new LED taillights and daytime running lights. Custom Porsche lettering has been added to the rear along with aftermarket stainless steel exhaust tips and black-painted 19” wheels dressed in a set of Hankook tires from 2015. The front area of the vehicle is said to have been previously refinished and the CARFAX report shows minor damage to have occurred in 2017. The seller adds that new paint protection film and ceramic coating were applied in April 2022.
Inside, this Carrera features optional heated Comfort Seats with driver memory as well as a heated steering wheel, self-dimming mirrors, and Bose High-End Sound Package. New inner door sills were installed in 2021 along with a new convertible switch, and the shifter knob was replaced in 2019 with a new OEM part.
The naturally aspirated 3.6-liter flat-six engine is rated at 345 HP and 287 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels by way of a 6-speed manual transmission. In 2020, an upgraded Fabspeed Competition carbon fiber air intake system was installed along with a reversible ExperTune performance software which claims to increase engine output by 30 HP. The seller states that all routine maintenance has been kept up to date with the last service completed in December 2022.

@happygwailo it was a Porsche mechanic, but not a Porsche dealership. The Porsche dealership was not available for an appointment for a month out.
Who was the mechanic who looked at it? Was it a Porsche mechanic? If so they should have given information about over-revs. Is that available?

@EQM to my knowledge the clutch has not been replaced. The vehicle was inspected last week and I was told by the mechanic that it is in good shape.
No, I don’t have the original air intake. Everything else is still stock.
Hi, do you have the stock air cleaner box? And I take it you're running the Fabspeed intake with stock throttle body and stock plenum? Last, has the clutch ever been changed and if so, how many miles does the current clutch have? Thanks!
@el_g_37 if you're asking about the smog test, yes it would. The tune can be turned on or off easily.
Does she pass smog with the tune?
