Produced from 2004-2013, the BMW 1-series has gained a cult following for its compact design and impeccable handling. This 2010 example is a 135i Coupe finished in Space Grey Metallic over a Coral Red leather interior and features a 6-speed manual transmission, along with optional heated seats, navigation, and more. This example has received various performance modifications including Cobb catted downpipes, a Cobb front-mount intercooler, a Cobb ECU tune, and a Cobb charge pipe. It is now being offered for auction by its seller out of New York showing less than 115k miles on the odometer.
Finished in Space Grey Metallic, this 135i features the optional aerodynamic body kit that includes a more aggressive front apron, side skirts, and a rear diffuser. It rides on 18” Style 261M alloy wheels wrapped in Fire Hawk tires. Additional equipment includes a glass sunroof, xenon headlights, and power-adjustable side mirrors. The seller reports that paint protection film has been applied to the front bumper and front of the hood. Additionally noted are a couple of dings, a scratch on the rear bumper cover, and normal wear and tear on the side skirts. The CARFAX report lists damage occurring in September of 2018. Detailed images are provided in the gallery.
The cabin is upholstered in Coral Red Boston leather and features optionally heated power-adjustable seats and a leather-wrapped steering wheel. Navigation was also optioned, and standard equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, and a CD stereo. The seller reports to have added a Bluetooth phone interface, a P3 multi-gauge, and an Alcantara ZHP shift boot. It is also noted that the driver’s seat shows some wear. All gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to function as intended with no warning lights present.
Powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter N54B30 inline-six engine, the 135i sends up to 300 HP and 300 lb.-ft. of torque to its rear wheels, from the factory. This example has been modified with Cobb catted downpipes, a Cobb front-mount intercooler, a Cobb ECU tune, and a Cobb charge pipe. The seller reports that recent maintenance includes the replacement of the valve cover gasket, spark plugs, and brake rotors, pads, & fluid. Additional recent service includes a replaced camshaft timing adjuster with freshly checked and set timing. Reportedly, a Blackstone oil analysis was completed less than 5k miles ago with exceptional results.
This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a set of winter wheels wrapped in Bridgestone Blizzak tires, mesh privacy window nets, Burger Motorsports jack pads, a complete set of WeatherTech mats, and a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “I have owned this wonderful machine for nearly 18 months and 12kish miles. It has lived in my climate control garage and was in one with the second owner as well. This car has been such a joy to own and am very sad to part with it, but such is life.”

Has the clutch ever been replaced? Also i see it had to be towed wonder why!! T y
I had the pleasure of seeing this car in person and the opportunity to drive it, and I have to say it is extremely solid and well kept. The car pulls amazingly! No delay in power and for how light it is. the roughly 400HP it has is more than enough to put a smile on your face and a frown on the drivers that you're leaving in the dust!
Good luck with the sale, the next caretaker will not be disappointed!

@ids no cracks in rear subframe at all. That is the factory paint lifting a bit, after all it is a 14 year old car. I took a steel bristle brush and scrubbed for a minute. I am uploading the new pictures.
Can you get better pictures of the mounts in 125 & 126? I am concerned about the crack in 126 and it looks like the weld is possibly broken in 125
As far as I know, the car will not pass CA emissions unless the downpipes have a CARB approval on them, they will fail visual inspection. It does not appear that Cobb makes these any more (VRSF is a much more common option, don't think those are CARB approved either.)
Bid in the amount of $2,500
@vmrojo I honestly do not know, I don’t see why not as Cats are still present. Maybe someone in california can chime in?
Do you know if this setup would pass Calif emission smog?
Bid in the amount of $750
@BigDutchman for sure. only reason i’m selling is because I need to free up funds. I also have a 2000 audi s4 and 2001 TT 225.. but I have a wicked soft spot for that generation of audis!
@_georged_ I have owned a number of BMWs over the years they are quite durable. I bet your car still drives like new.
@BigDutchman also, just to confirm before this I had a 2002 m3 that the throw out bearing took a shit at 144k. When I removed the transmission, I also did a turner LW FW and ceramic clutch. The stock clutch still had life left in it, could have indeed lasted until 175k+. I might also mention the rod bearings had over 100k with no signs of wear. If these cars are properly taken care of, they can last a lot of miles. I also own an e70 x5m.. so i’m no stranger to high maintenance vehicles.
@BigDutchman great questions.. clutch & transmission feel strong and haven’t had any issues at all. Clutch lets out mid pedal, so definitely has life left in it. The suspension feels nice and tight.. but when I swapped out the winter wheels, i did notice that the rear shocks are getting worn and should be changed. You can tell in the video how the car drives, and it was VERY well taken care of since new. Hope this helps.
@_georged_ What can you tell us about the condition of the clutch, transmission, general Drive train and suspension. with these miles typically all of those things would be needing attention soon.
@estiles001 thank you. I never had the car on a dyno, but a quick search on the webs it’s around 400whp/415tq. It’s safe to say the car definitely moves!
Beautiful car - what's your estimate on the hp and torque gains as a result of the modifications?
