The flagship first-generation Cayenne Turbo S came equipped with a 4.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine paired with a 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission and was capable of speeds of over 180 MPH. Boasting a 6-speed Tiptronic S transmission, PASM air suspension, 6-piston aluminum monobloc front brakes with 15” rotors, and a host of premium equipment as standard, this 2009 example is finished in Black over a matching full leather interior. Further options include the Exterior Package in Black, painted 21” Cayenne SportPlus wheels, soft-look smooth leather Comfort Seats with memory, the Light Comfort Package, Porsche Entry & Drive, a moonroof, roll-up rear sunshades, and a trailer hitch. Acquired by the seller on PCARMARKET, this Cayenne Turbo S is now being offered for auction out of Georgia with less than 121k miles showing on the odometer.

This Cayenne is finished in Black with optional black exterior trim and painted 21” Cayenne SportPlus wheels. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, fog lights, a rear window wiper, painted side skirts and wheel arch flares, a roof spoiler, a moonroof, parking sensors, quad exhaust outlets, a trailer hitch, red brake calipers, and a stainless-steel tailgate guard. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

The Black full leather interior features optional soft-look smooth leather, carbon fiber trim, an Alcantara headliner, heated power Comfort Seats with memory, Porsche-crested headrests, and a three-spoke multifunction leather steering wheel. Other accessories include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a Bose sound system, Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation, a Bluetooth phone interface, roll-up rear sunshades, and Porsche Entry & Drive.

Power comes from a robust 4.8-liter twin-turbocharged V8 engine, sending up to 550 HP and 553 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed Tiptronic automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a variable center differential. The Turbo S comes standard with adjustable air suspension including Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) and 6-piston aluminum monobloc front brake calipers paired with 15” ventilated rotors. Since the seller’s acquisition, over $8,500 in servicing has been performed, including the following:

  • Rear coolant cross valley pipe replaced with updated Porsche OEM threaded-barb version (replaces original glued plastic pipe known to fail catastrophically; engine-out job, approx. 20+ hours)
  • Main engine coolant pipe replaced with updated Porsche OEM aluminum version (replacing original plastic pipe)
  • New brakes installed: rear pads and rotors replaced by current seller; front brakes completed by previous owner
  • Transfer case actuator replaced with new Porsche OEM unit
  • Front differential, rear differential, and transfer case serviced, with all fluids replaced
  • Kessy remote key/keyless system serviced
  • New battery installed

This sale will include a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Won vehicle on PCAR market auction. I’m a Porsche enthusiast and own/have owned 718s, 911s, 958 and 9Y0 Cayennes. I bought this as a 3rd car that my retired father (he’s 70) could drive and that I could occasionally use for commutes into the city so as not to put commuter miles on my 911. I’ve always been fascinated by the 957 gen, an overbuilt, heavier car. Unfortunately, the combination of heavy weight / fast speed proved too much for my father, who is not comfortable driving it. We are replacing this car with a Ford Bronco Sport. Since owning the car, I have done significant preventative maintenance to address any potential issues.”

I think this car has aged well doesn't look 16 years ago

  • Nprest2 (seller) 2 monthsago

@ggh4 not to my knowledge, the car has been over to a few different shops for various work / service / post-purchase inspection during my ownership and none of the shops have identified an active oil leak. I did not see any oil leaks disclosed by the seller from whom I had purchased the car, he’s had it at a local Porsche dealer as well as an Indy in Hickory, NC to get it ready for sale

  • ggh4 (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

Image 84. Is that oil on the cover?

  • Nprest2 (seller) 2 monthsago

@Jontpop the car had thrown a 4WD error under my ownership, I had diagnosed with a local German specialist and they traced it to the transfer case actuator, we ordered a new part to replaced it which took care of the issue. Car drives great afterwards and no more errors. The shop also performed the transfer case fluid change / service

  • Jontpop (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

interested in your expirence with the transfer case and just optioning the actuator vs the replacement part

  • Jontpop (registered bidder) 2 monthsago

Those look like some well worn seats. Many Miles and smiles im sure. I dont think a bronco could be comparable to this but to each their own.

I'll be watching this one for sure. After losing out on this to you last time, I ended up buying in a 2009 CTS myself so, I'm not into bid, but interested in your success.
