The first generation Porsche Cayenne, introduced in 2002 for the 2003 model year, marked Porsche's entry into the SUV market. This 2009 example is a Cayenne S and is finished in Sand White over a Black leather interior and features the optional Preferred Package Plus, a moonroof, 19” Cayenne Design wheels, variable-assist power steering, PCM with navigation, and more. This Cayenne is now being offered for auction by its seller out of California showing approximately 121k miles on the odometer.

Finished in Sand White, this Cayenne is equipped with optional 19” color-crested Cayenne Design wheels wrapped in Nitto tires showing date codes from 2023, a trailer hitch without a hitch ball, and Bi-Xenon headlights with washers. Equipment includes fog lights and silver brake calipers. The seller notes that the rear bumper was repainted, as well as an approximate 5” x 2” patch in which the clear coat is peeling on the nose, faded trim on the rear bumper and trunk, and a missing trim piece in front of the rear driver’s side wheel. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

Inside, this Cayenne is upholstered in Black leather with matching floor mats and features the optional Preferred Package Plus, a moonroof, roll-up sunscreens for the rear quarter windows, PCM with navigation module, a universal audio interface, Bluetooth phone interface, and the Light Comfort Package. The power-adjustable front seats are optionally heated, as well as the steering wheel. The seller notes a trim piece around the passenger seat belt is broken and that a touchscreen Alpine ILX-507 head unit has been added with CarPlay and an ARC audio XDI1200.6 amplifier powering Focal tweeters and subwoofers, with Vifa mid-range speakers. Additionally, the fuel gauge is reported to be faulty, although all other gauges, electronics, and accessories are reported to be in working order.

Powered by a naturally aspirated 4.8-liter V8 engine, the Cayenne S sends up to 385 HP and 369 lb.-ft. of torque to all four wheels by way of a 6-speed Tiptronic S automatic transmission. The seller notes service over the last 6 years has included the installation of new items including the engine mounts, a water pump, a thermostat, in-tank fuel pumps, a fuel filter, coil packs, spark plugs, rear oxygen sensors, and a starter.

This sale will include the owner’s manuals, a spare tire, an air pump, and a clean title.

The seller would like you to know: “Thank you for looking at my auction. This car has been my wife's car over the last 12 years. We bought it when it was 3 years old with 35k miles. The car has been extremely reliable and has never let me down. Aside from the stereo, the car is completely stock and has never been modified. The engine runs strong, and I have kept up with oil changes every 3k miles. The fluids in the transmission, front and rear differential, and transfer case were changed at 90k miles. Over the past 5-6 years we had the thermostat, water pump, starter, coil packs, plugs, engine mounts, rear oxygen sensors, fuel pumps, and fuel filters replaced. The truck drives true, no vibration, the alignment is straight. These trucks were well engineered and seem to age much better compared to the 958 that I own.”

Hi everyone, I will happy to answer any questions you may have on my auction. I will be checking the site twice daily. If you want to come drive or inspect the car I will be happy to accommodate, I just need a day's notification. I have gone through the car over the past week and there are no issues (aside of the fuel gauge), and no leaks. The fuel gauge works, the sender in the tank is partially blocked by a fuel line preventing it to reach "Max/ Full". The gauge will only register 1/2 tank when the fuel tank is full. The fix takes 2 hours as there are numerous tutorials on Youtube. Happy bidding, I hope this Cayenne goes to another good home! I will be posting a cold start video soon.
