Now available for auction is this 2009 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S Coupe finished in Aqua Blue Metallic over a black interior. Marking the launch year of the facelifted 997.2 generation, this 2009 example was debuted with a new direct fuel-injected 3.8L engine as well as the optional 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) transmission. It was also ordered with leather Sport Seats, Sport Chrono Package Plus, Bose High-End Sound Package, a heated steering wheel, and more. The car has enjoyed a long history of dealer service and was sold as a Porsche Certified Pre-Owned vehicle in 2019 before recently being acquired by its owner out of Maryland. This nicely appointed Carrera S Coupe is now being offered for auction showing just over 46k miles on the odometer.
This Carrera S comes finished in Aqua Blue Metallic, a seldom-seen color first offered on the Porsche 911 in 1991. The factory 19” Carrera S II wheels are accentuated by red-painted brake calipers and come fitted with optional colored center crests. Compared to the original design, the facelifted 997.2 features updated LED lighting, larger exterior mirrors, and a revised front fascia with larger air intakes. The seller notes minimal signs of road-going wear on the front end, and the car currently rides on a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires dated from 2017-2018, additional images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.

This 997.2 is equipped with a direct fuel-injected 3.8L flat-six engine rated at 385 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque, driving the rear wheels by way of a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Using the launch control function of the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, the Carrera S accelerates from 0-60 MPH in as little as 4 seconds. The rear mufflers have been eliminated with AWE Performance crossover pipes and the original components are no longer available. A long history of maintenance is provided on CARFAX, and the seller reports a full service was completed in January of 2022 along with a complete Maryland State inspection.
