Among the most sought-after models of the 997 generation, the 2009 Porsche 997 Turbo was the last version equipped with the legendary twin-turbocharged 3.6-liter Mezger engine and features the updated PCM infotainment system of the 997.2 generation. This 2009 Porsche 997 Turbo Cabriolet is finished in Creme White over Cocoa Special Leather and features a 6-speed manual transmission, a Cocoa soft top, a thicker leather steering wheel, Aluminum-Look interior accents, a Sport Shifter, and more. Acquired by the second and current owner in 2019 as a Porsche Certified Pre-Owned vehicle, this Turbo is now available for auction out of New York with less than 24k miles showing on the odometer. Click here to view the previous PCARMARKET listing.
This 997 is finished in Creme White with a Cocoa convertible soft top and 19” 911 Turbo wheels. Equipment includes Turbo-specific bumpers, bi-xenon headlamps, fog lights, wide fenders with integrated side air intakes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, dual exhaust outlets, and red Porsche-branded brake calipers. The seller notes paint protection film covers the front bumper, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin was ordered in premium Cocoa Special Leather with matching floor mats, an optional thicker steering wheel in Smooth Leather, leather sun visors, Aluminum-Look gear and handbrake levers, and an aluminum footrest. Additional options include heated Comfort Seats with Porsche-crested headrests, LED door pocket lighting, rear footwell lighting, PCM Voice Control, XM Radio, a Bluetooth interface, and a 6-disc CD/DVD changer.
Rated at 480 HP and 460 lb-ft of torque, the 3.6-liter Mezger flat-six engine features twin Variable Turbine Geometry (VTG) turbochargers, VarioCam Plus variable valve timing, and a dry sump lubrication system. It delivers power to all four wheels through a 6-speed manual transmission and an electronically controlled center differential. The car features the optional Sport Shifter. Standard features include Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Stability Management (PCM), and fixed 6 and 4-piston brakes with 350mm cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The seller adds that this vehicle has been serviced annually, and no outstanding maintenance items have been reported.
This sale will include a clean title, owner’s manuals, a toolkit, and a spare tire.
The seller would like you to know: “This was a garage car, never in the rain or snow. The car was driven 15 or 20 miles every two or three weeks, weather permitting. The oil was changed every 1000 miles. Every system works perfectly.”

This car has not been remapped
Has this car’s ecu been remapped? Without the sport chrono package, you won’t hit the extra boost without the remapping. In other words, I don’t think this makes the full 480 hp. Can seller confirm?

Just so everyone understands
I bought my first 911 in 1975/and have owned 16 911’s since then.
I currently own a 2013 911s convertible and a 2006 911s. My daily driver is an Audi RS5. Coupe.
The turbo is too good to sit in my garage. Someone else should get it and enjoy this great car.

Anyone inspecting the car would be happy with the results.

Thanks for clarifying. I remembered the pics from the previous ad, which is why I asked. It looked from the new pics that you cleaned it up a bit. Looks much better in the recent pics.
You can see from the new photos the bottom looks clean and rust free.As I said before there was mostly dirt and surface rust and light aluminum corrosion.
The bottom was all cleaned up within 2 hours.
You can be assured there is no other angle from which you see photos that you would be unhappy seeing.
The car was properly cared for but I never looked at the bottom before the old photos.
@BrowneLaw click on the previous ad. you will see more underside photos. there were a lot of comments n how it looked.
I never tracked the car.
I don’t believe the car was ever raced, the paint in front is too perfect to have been on a track.
Hi Ray, is there any known track usage with the car?
PCAR took all the photos.
I’ll see what I can do.
Hi Ray. Beautiful car. Would it be possible for you to post some additional pics of the underside including suspension components?
Sure the car can be inspected
Let me know how to get in touch with you
Ray
Is possible to inspect the car. I am located in the Town of Oyster Bay.
Thank you.
