For the 2009 model year, the updated Porsche 997.2 generation introduced more powerful direct fuel-injected engines and the newly available 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK). This first-year 997.2 Carrera S Cabriolet is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over a Black and Stone Grey interior. Commanding an original MSRP of over $118k, it features 19” Carrera Classic wheels, Dynamic Cornering Lights, Sport Chrono Package Plus, a Smooth Leather heated steering wheel, Black instrument dials, heated & ventilated Power Comfort Seats, BOSE High-End Sound, Park Assist, and much more. Owned in California and Texas before the seller’s acquisition, this 911 is now being offered for auction out of Iowa with under 25k miles showing on the odometer.
This 997.2 comes finished in Arctic Silver Metallic with a blue convertible soft top. Distinguishing “Carrera S” features include red-painted brake calipers and quad-exhaust outlets. Optional equipment includes Dynamic Cornering Lights, and 19” Carrera Classic wheels with colored Porsche center crests and tires from 2020. Additional features include daytime running lights and a speed-activated rear spoiler. The seller notes minor scratches, and detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with two-tone Black and Stone Grey upholstery with interior-colored floor mats. Options include Power Comfort Seats with driver memory, heated & ventilated front seats, a heated 3-spoke PDK multifunction steering wheel in Smooth Leather, instrument dials in Black, an aluminum footrest, and a fire extinguisher. Additionally, selected amenities include self-dimming mirrors, a universal audio interface, Bluetooth connectivity, the BOSE High-End Sound Package, a navigation module for PCM, the Park Assist System, and the Sport Chrono Package Plus.
A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 385 HP to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, the Carrera S can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in as little as 4.5 seconds. Standard performance features include a stainless steel exhaust system and Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) including a 10mm ride height reduction compared to the base Carrera. The CARFAX report shows a total of 19 service history entries.

It's not unheard of here to adjust your bid in order to hit a seller's reserve.

What about the exterior paint scratches? Can you be more specific about the location and the extent of the scratches? A video of the convertible top going up & down would have been helpful. Any issues with the convertible top ?

@Boozer28 I can assure you they are the same vehicle. The interior has a black dash, and upper door panels, and a gray lower "Beltline" and seats. I am see no difference, not sure where the confusion is coming from.
The video of the interior and the pictures of the interior definitely appear to be from different vehicles. Can you explain why the video shows gray interior and the pictures posted show black or charcoal interior ?

The seats do not look like they are leather, the pictures posted do not do a good job with the interior. Can you confirm the material for the seats. Also can you be more specific and detailed regarding the exterior paint scratches you mention, again it’s hard to see from the photos

@ u00rz01 The car has technically been listed for 2 years for sale. It was kept at my house and used by my wife sparingly. She would drive it on weekends or to meet her friends for tennis. It was serviced annually and was recently serviced in May. I would be willing to change the oil again for the buyer if requested. Nice car but spent most of its time enjoying my garage.

@targahawk I think this same car is on Google Maps. It's in a large room with other sports cars at Duffy's Classic Cars in October 2022. Was it part of a private collection or something? I'd also like to know about recent service history.
