Launched for the 2009 model year, the 997.2 generation Porsche 911 Carrera model range featured more powerful direct fuel-injected flat-six engines and the option of a new 7-speed Porsche Doppelkupplung (PDK) dual-clutch transmission. Finished in Black over a matching full leather interior, this 2009 Porsche 997.2 Carrera S Coupe is equipped with a 7-speed PDK transmission paired with its 3.8-liter engine, optional heated and ventilated Power Comfort Seats, Sport Chrono Package Plus, Bose High-End Sound Package, auto-dimming mirrors, the Parking Assist System, and navigation for PCM. It was purchased by the current owner in 2022 and modified with custom gold decals and painted wheels, a K&N air filter set, stainless-steel brake lines, Torque Solutions engine mounts, an aluminum PDK oil pan, and a center muffler delete. Showing approximately 72k miles on the odometer, this Carrera S is now being offered for auction out of Virginia.
This Coupe is finished in Black and has been customized with gold Carrera script side decals, a gold and red rear model designation, and gold-painted 19” Carrera S II wheels with 7mm/12mm spacers. Equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, headlamp washers, fog lights, LED taillights, clear side marker lenses, an electric sunroof, a speed-activated rear spoiler, quad exhaust tips, red-painted brake calipers, and aftermarket front grille screens. A small scratch has been touched up on the rear bumper cover and the seller notes some rock chips on the lower rear fenders, front bumper, and hood, as well as a crack on the driver’s side windshield. New Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires were mounted less than a year ago. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The premium Black full leather interior includes optional heated and ventilated Power Comfort Seats with driver memory and a three-spoke multifunction steering wheel. Other accessories include an Alcantara headliner automatic climate control, cruise control, auto-dimming mirrors, a Bluetooth phone interface, the Parking Assist System, a 6-disc CD/DVD changer, Bose High-End Sound Package, and Porsche Communication Management (PCM) with navigation and voice control. The seller notes the driver’s side A-pillar upholstery needs to be reglued and the pillar is missing a trim clip. A replacement late-model GT Sport steering wheel in gloss black is included with carbon fiber paddle shifter extensions, although it is missing an airbag and requires a control module for the buttons to work.
A naturally aspirated 3.8-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 385 HP and 310 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels through a 7-speed dual-clutch PDK transmission. Equipped with the optional Sport Chrono Package Plus, the Carrera S can accelerate from 0-60 MPH in approximately 4 seconds. An upgraded K&N air filter kit has been installed and the exhaust has been modified with a center muffler delete. An invoice provided by the seller shows the car received an oil and filter change, stainless-steel brake lines, an upgraded aluminum PDK oil pan, new PDK fluid, and Torque Solutions engine mounts during their ownership.
This sale will include a late-model GT Sport steering wheel, owner’s manuals, and a clean title (lien).
The seller would like you to know: “Thanks for looking at my 911S! Overall, this has been a fantastic car, it drives like a 911 should and is the last of the 100% Porsche-designed and built 911s. I get more compliments on the car than anything I have recently owned. The black and Gold look great. I am selling it to purchase another 997.2 with a rebuilt title to paint orange. This one is too nice to color change, so I am selling it. Thanks.”

@kreegs991 yes i upgraded the pan to aluminum when the full pdk service was done. I have never used launch control since owning it i feel its useless and to hard on the car.
@cdoggyd FYI it has full service history unless you did not read the invoices..
The Carfax report is included below the listing description.
Without service history and videos, I think it's gonna be hard for many people to bid confidently.
Does the PDK work well? Is it driveable and ready to go?
@OSI i bought it in fl flew and drove it back to Virginia with no start or drive video. I have not had time to do videos.
@OSI what is your question i did not recieve any directessages.
Also the pasm damper assemblies go with the car they are currently boxed up 64ish miles.
@Manjodh no recalls that i know of. All service work has been done within the last year.
@Another911 car fax showed belt service at 64k right before i purchased it. No idea why carfax is not on the listing. All maintaince on invoices has been done in the last year ish.
@kreegs991 crack on driver side happened two weeks ago. Crack is now around 12 inches up and to the right 4inch. Needs to be replaced.
@WH911 it will not ahow up in pictures it is low close to the window. Small section around 5 inches by maybe 2 its a little puff of leather.
Anyone from Pcarmarket maybe has a way of getting a hold of the seller. Strange that there is silence w one hour to go??
Is there a picture available that shows the A-pillar upholstery that needs to be reglued?
@ SiMOD
I sent you a direct message to remind you to reply as time is closing. Also any driving and starting videos would help. Can't really bid with so many open questions un answered. Thx
Does that have a broken windshield?
I don't see a Carfax report included in the pics. Also, any dated maintenance records would greatly help to understand how well the car has been maintained. These are important items for bids close to market value.
SiMOD - Your 997 looks awesome. I’d be interested in bringing it up to Canada myself and for that I’d need to know if there are any active recalls on the car that haven’t been addressed yet.
Do you have any service records? How long have you owned it? Concerned about the pdk at this mileage now. Many 1st gen pdk have shown issues by now with 1st and reverse for example. Have you had yours inspected or changed?
Thx
If anyone has any questions feel free to ask. Thanks.
