This 2009 Porsche 997.2 Carrera Cabriolet pairs a 6-speed manual transmission with its naturally aspired 3.6-liter flat-six. Finished in Meteor Grey Metallic over Black full leather upholstery, it was also configured with the Bose High-End Sound Package, Power Comfort Seats, front seat heating, a navigation module for PCM, and much more. Showing just under 33k miles on the odometer, this 997.2 is now being offered for auction by its seller out of Washington.
Compared to the original 997 model, the updated 997.2 version featured a revised front fascia with larger radiator grilles as well as new LED taillights and headlamps with LED daytime running lights. This example is finished in Meteor Grey Metallic with a black cabriolet top. A set of 18" Carrera IV wheels have been fitted. Upon the seller’s acquisition in 2023, the car received paint protection film along the front bumper and a full ceramic coating. Detailed images are provided in the gallery along with a clean CARFAX report.
The cabin is appointed with premium Black full leather upholstery with optional Power Comfort Seats including seat heating and driver memory. Other options include exclusive Porsche-crested headrests, the Bose High-End Sound Package, a Universal Audio Interface, a navigation module for PCM, and interior-colored floor mats. One small scratch is noted on the rear screen holder.
A naturally aspirated and direct fuel-injected 3.6-liter flat-six engine delivers up to 345 HP and 287 lb.-ft of torque to the rear wheels by a 6-speed manual transmission. Acceleration from 0-60 MPH occurs in less than 5 seconds while stopping power comes from fixed 4-piston brakes paired with 330mm cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The seller adds that two oil changes have been performed within the last year.
This sale will include a clean title.
The seller would like you to know: “I purchased the car in 2023, it’s a really great example of a 997.2 cabriolet. It’s been a great car- very well cared for and always garaged. It was purchased new in the Seattle area (Bellevue Porsche dealer) and it was a local two-owner car before I bought it. It is fun but I have more cars than I need. The full leather interior is quite special and beautiful, really adds to the car.”

I personally think the Carrera looks great on 18" rims ! And, less weight, smoother ride. What could be wrong with 18" rims on this car ! Unless you think bigger is better for some reason.
However, I definitely understand the concern for wanting to retain the optioned original equipment.
So you removed the original rims because you thought you would lose money. What did you think removing original rims would do for the car?

"S" rims? Yes the car came from the factory with that option. As I know that when I sell the car, it will be for many thousands less than I paid for it a little over a year ago, so I exchanged them with another 997.2 that I own.
You can view the factory options here:

@Vangajo1 good point! Same question.
Hi, I found the car on Park Place website but it is on Carrera S wheels which also show as factory option on the Monroney? Do the extra wheels come with the car? Why were they changed, they looked fine in the pictures? Thanks
I never recieved a copy of the window sticker when I bought it. But I believe if you give the VIN to a Porsche dealer , they can show you all the options. Or better yet, I bought the car from Parkplace motors in Bellevue Washington. I think if you go to their website and type in 2009 Porsche 911 under their "recent sales" option, you will find the add they placed for the car when I bought it. They list all of the options and the associated costs.
Do you have the original sticker listing all its options, etc. That doc found in the window of any new car?
Is there anything wrong with this car at all?

Hi,
I would like a PPI as well. How do we make this happen?
Scott
Hello! I asked in DMs, but haven't seen a response.
Do you have any service records from your ownership or prior ownership? There's some info listed on the Carfax, but would love to review any additional items.
Thank you!
Cold Start video? Yes, I will try and post one today after I leave my office.
Is it possible to share a cold start video?
And a quick video running through the gears?
Thank you
I would like a PPI done on car.
